A/n: One of my friend's friend boyfriend died so I am dedicating it to the death of him.
She walked to the grave with a single rose in her hand, all of the thorns cut off, just the way he liked it.
"I I miss you." She would always say to the grave. She dropped the rose to the grave and sat beside it and began to cry.
"I love you Hinata." Naruto boldly said as they entered the car. The girl smiled at him as she slipped into the passenger seat.
"I love you too sweetie." Hinata said, looking out the window. It was a wet day, a foggy day. Nobody could see anything. A silence filled the car. It wasn't a awkward silence, but it was a complete one.
Hinata sighed at the memories of her life with him before the car crash. His goofy grin, the way the girls flew over to him but how he had chosen her. Although he was in a better place, he had given her a gash in her heart that she felt would never stop bleeding and could never be stitched up.
Tomorrow was the service for him, and she was doing a special speech.
"What do you think of it Naruto?" Hinata asked the grave.
"I don't think you would like everybody fussing over you." She said, picking the old rose from yesterday off the ground and began to pick the petals. The wind cradled it in its arm and blew it away.
"I miss you Naruto. I miss you!" She yelled, leaning against the grave for support.
"Honey, I think we should go now." A soft voice said, her pink hair tied up in one bun.
"Bye Naruto," Called Hinata over her shoulder. She leaned against Sakura for support as they got into their car and sped away.
At the ceremony…
Hinata sat in the front row with Sakura and Naruto's close friends.
"In honor of Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyuga will be presenting a speech." She wobbled up to the podium and lifted her black veil.
"Naruto Uzumaki wa- I can't do this." She said as she walked from the podium and pushed the doors open. The sickly sweet scent of spring hit her nose and her eyes welled up with tears.
"Naruto, didn't you love spring?" She said to a cherry blossom tree. She swung around and around the tree until she got really dizzy and fell to the ground. Her black dress was now dirt and grassed stained, but for once, she didn't care. She got up and ran. She ran from everything. Her vision was blurry from the tears and she didn't know where she was going. She didn't care. She was stopped when Sakura grabbed her by the arm and she realized she had been running in circles.
"Let's get you home." Sakura said. Hinata slipped into her pajamas, but couldn't focus on anything. Her tongue couldn't find a comfortable in her mouth; she could feel where all of her clothes were touching her skin. Her body couldn't find a 'right' position. She tossed and turned until she heard a familiar voice.
"N Naruto? Where are you? I knew you would come back!" She cried.
"Shhh, Hinata I am in a better place now. But I was sent down to reassure you that." His voice filled her ears and she cried in pure joys, but sadness for he was not really there.
"Hinata; I need you to live your life. I will see you again, but I want you to enjoy. Don't forget me completely though!" He chuckled. Hinata sat upright and sighed.
"Naruto, I love you. Thank you…" She murmered, falling into a deep sleep.
"You welcome…" Naruto whispered. His ghostly features appeared in the room as he kissed Hinata and disappeared.
