Just a short drabble that came to me the other day. Not the best, but I hope you like it anyway.
Disclaimer: Do not own.
For Sherlock Holmes to admit he was wrong was like Mycroft telling us he had a salad for lunch, it did not happen very often. In this incident, however, he found it fairly easy to acknowledge his mistake.
"I was wrong John."
John's head came up from behind his laptop. "Sorry, what?"
Sherlock rolled his eyes at John's stunned expression.
"I said I was wrong."
"Heroes do exist. And I own the privilege of having one for a flatmate."
A small smile appeared on John's face as he glanced back down at his computer.
"Thanks, Sherlock. But you forgot one other thing."
Sherlock looked back at him, confused. "What did I forget?"
"I'm not the only person in this flat who could be considered a hero."
Sherlock gave him a sardonic smile. "I know quite a few people who would disagree with that statement, John."
John just smiled at him. He didn't have to say the words aloud for John to know his real answer.
Thank you, for believing in me.
