"No!" She slammed her hands on the mirror that was now rock hard. Her panicked face stared back at her as she continued to bang on the glass. Jefferson was quick, quicker than the Queen had anticipated. She wasn't aware of what a person would do to get back to their child because not even her parents would be willing to do so for her. He charged her, knocking her to the ground and taking Henry through the looking glass with him.
She was left behind.
She swallowed and turned slowly. Guards waited for her with an uptight man at front and center. He was small and a smug grin tugged at his lips. He had seen what had transpired between her and the men that no longer lingered in their realm. He lifted his hand and snapped. All guards rushed her.
Regina rose to her feet, fireball already in hand. She launched it at the cards closest to her. They easily caught fire and flailed to pull themselves away from her. The Queen conjured another pyro ball, the orange and yellow flames licked her palm and down her forearm. She moved to release it when her arm was forced to her side.
Her eyes widened in fear as her body snapped from a crouch to board straight. The guards dropped away, bowing deeply as a red figure appeared from within the tall blades of grass. Regina could see the smirk of victory in her memories even if she couldn't see it directly upon the Queen of Hearts' face. "My dear, how long it has been since we're seen each other."
Regina tightened her jaw and kept her gaze forward, not giving into the woman who had kept her life in ruins for many years. A red glove gripped and yanked at her chin, pulling it so it was level with hers. Regina could see past the veil. The hate that she found in light brown eyes didn't startle her in the least. She held still, not showing a single sign of weakness. The veil covered face turned to the uptight man and nodded at him. "Bring her to the castle."
As the men who protected the Red Queen grabbed the Evil Queen roughly by the upper arms and dragged her with no care toward the castle, Regina could make out a smirk that put her memories to shame.
"What shall we do with her, my Queen?" The little man asked the Red Queen who stood by watching the dark woman being led away.
"Show her the same treatment we would if she were a traitor to our lands."
