A Kate T/ Ziva D Story
Within their apartment, Kate Todd sat down on their bed and watched her lover sleep. Soft snores escaped her rosy lips. Kate smiled at this, loving the woman even more. Caressing the Israeli's cheek, Kate felt totally relaxed around her, which is understandable given they had been dating for four months. She had been sleeping too long. Kate decided to wake her up.
"Ziva," called Kate. "Come on sleeping beauty, time to wake up."
Groaning, Ziva turned over, not ready to wake up. It was only ten o'clock at night. Kate, giggling, got up from the bed and went to the other side, kneeling down next to her.
"Zee-vah," Kate chimed, stretching out her name teasingly.
"Caitlin," Ziva mumbled. "Let me sleep."
Kate could only chuckle at this.
"You're cute when you're like this." Kate said, stroking Ziva's hair gently.
Ziva shook her head, not believing this.
"Can I go back to sleep now?" Ziva asked, sounding sleepily.
"Aw, baby, no." Kate said, her hand going down Ziva's arm gently. "I've got something for you. I want you to see it."
Grumbling something along the lines of Kate being an annoying girlfriend, Ziva sat up reluctantly.
"Alright. What is this big surprise?" Ziva asked, running a hand through her hair.
"Come with me." Kate said softly, holding out her hand.
The fellow agent took hold of the older woman's hand. Kate led her girlfriend to the front room where Ziva saw the surprise. Darkness, the only light dimly shone from several romantically lit candles. Furrowing her brows, she wondered what this was all about. Then there were the roses. So mant roses and their petals were scattered around the room. Ziva rubbed her eyes tiredly, wondering what this was for, why Kate would do this.
"Why?" was all Ziva could say.
"Happy four month anniversary." Kate whispered into her ear, standing behind her.
"Four months! Wow!" Ziva exclaimed, not sure how to react.
Kate could tell from her tone of voice that Ziva was off put by this.
"Are you… okay?" Kate asked, worry nagging at her heart.
"Yeah," She replied with a slight smile. "I just didn't think we'd celebrate it."
Ziva let out a light chuckle. Kate nodded, and she kissed the younger woman's cheek.
"I think you deserve this." Kate said into Ziva's ear softly. "And there's more."
"More…?" Ziva asked, slightly intrigued.
"Mm-hmm." Kate replied with a nod.
Kate led Ziva to the couch. Upon sitting down, Ziva saw them. There were jars of massage oils and lotions. And then there was a canister unlabeled sitting there. Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion.
"What is it now, Zi?"
"What is that?" She asked, pointing to the canister.
Kate snickered sneakily.
"That, Ziva dearest, is a little surprise."
Ziva looked to Kate, suspicion in her eyes.
"Oh?" Ziva asked and Kate nodded slowly.
"I'm going to pamper you tonight, Agent David." She told her playfully.
"Is that so?"
Kate nodded. She got up and skillfully walked on the couch, perching herself behind Ziva with her legs around her. She carefully took off Ziva's navy blue tank top, seeing more of that honey-like, olive-tan skin. Kate gently nipped at the bottom of her own lip as she grabbed a jar of heated massage oil.
"I love you, Ziva." Kate confessed as she opened the jar.
"I know." Ziva replied. "I love you, too."
