Ironic, I was learning about the reproduction system in school when I first started writing this.

Anyways, this is the final chapter. Thank you so much for sticking with me and my lateness. Hope you guys decide to read my other stories!

The day we got married was the day Yellow had our child.

And no, I don't mean we had a ceremony exactly when she was giving birth. That would be weird.

I never planned to marry Yellow so soon. I was twenty, Yellow was eighteen and we still had our lives ahead of us. We had been going out for two years and I knew I wanted her to be my wife. I already had the ring, but I was nowhere near ready to propose to her.

And then she told me she was pregnant.

I nearly fainted. I thought we were being careful about that! But Yellow looked at white as I felt and I immediately felt bad. This was going to be a lot tougher on her than it was on me. She was the one actually carrying the child. I walked beside her and knelt, reaching my arm out to touch her stomach. "When is the due date?"

She gulped. "Middle of spring. The doctor said we would know the exact date once I was past the two month mark."

"And how along are you?"

"About a few weeks. The doctor said it was strange that I was showing symptoms so early, but it wasn't unusual."

"Are you okay?"

She smiled faintly. "I always wanted a baby, I just never imagined it would be so soon." She gently patted her stomach. "But its yours and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world."

I don't remember what happened next. It was all a blur to me until I came to in a kneeling position, the ring I bought for her ages ago in my hand.

"Listen," I swallowed loudly. "I know we didn't exactly expect this, and I know this is going to be really hard on you more than it's going to be with me, but I've always wanted to marry you Yellow. I could never picture my life without you, and I want you to know that you don't have to marry me. All I want are for you and this baby to be safe and happy. So if you don't want to marry me, then I completely underst–"

"Of course I'll marry you Red."

She smiled. "I know that raising a baby will be hard, but I also know that as long as I'm with you, nothing bad will ever happen."

I swooped her into my arms and kissed her passionately before slipping the ring onto her finger. "Welcome to the family Mrs. Red."

The months went by long and fast.

Yellow got a little bigger each month. We discovered it was a girl and Yellow and I were ecstatic. Thankfully, her morning sickness wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. I was told from my mom and from Blue (who shocked all of us a few years ago when she and Green announced they were getting married at age nineteen, and a half a year later popped out a baby) about the horrors of morning sickness and mood swings and cravings.

I came home one day to find her on the couch, sobbing her eyes out. When I asked her what was wrong, she told me she watched A Walk To Remember.

"It was so sad!" She wailed. I had to wait for three hours before she calmed down. When she actually calmed down, she immediately scowled at me. "Why didn't you tell me how beautiful I am? You know when I cry I look like a Grimer! I can't believe you sometimes!" She stomped upstairs and I waited for twenty minutes before she came sobbing down the stairs and straight into my arms. "I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry! I just don't know why I'm like this!"

I winced and hugged her back. "Its okay Yellow, its just the hormones. In five months it will be all over and we'll have a new member of our family."

She nodded and clutched me tighter. "I'm scared Red."

"I know. But you have me, my mom, and Blue. Crystal is researching everything she can about the delivery, Gold is planning on teaching her all kinds of ways to get in trouble, Silver already promised to be a babysitter, Sapphire is excited to have another battle buddy, Ruby already gave us her wardrobe for the next four years, Rald is helping Crystal and everyone from Sinnoh and Unova have already promised to visit once the baby is born. You and her are going to be just fine."

She suddenly gasped and quickly put my hands on her belly. "I felt it kick!" She joyfully squealed.

She was right. There was a small pounding right where my hands were. I couldn't help but smile as I knelt down to face her belly. "She's going to be quite the kicker when she grows up."

Yellow smiled with me. "We'll have to ask the Pokemon to keep up with her. And maybe she could take a few lessons from Crystal."

"Pika is already ecstatic about the baby."

"Chuchu can't wait either." She suddenly giggled. "We really are going to be okay, aren't we? The baby and I?"

"Of course you are. I'm right here."

The wedding came a lot sooner than I would have liked. Before I knew it I was standing in a white tux, shaking from nerves. Gold rolled his eyes and pushed me into a chair. "Dude, relax. Yellow is probably just as nervous, if not more than you are."

"B-But I don't know if–"

"Don't know what Red?" Green appeared behind me. "I know you've wanted to marry Yellow ever since you dragged me ring shopping a few years back. I've seen the love-struck gazes you give her, the way you would do anything for her. Getting married is just a fancy way of saying, 'I love you and I want to be with you forever'. Just relax and calm down."

I took a deep breath. They were right. After today, Yellow would be mine to love a cherish forever.

I suddenly couldn't wait to walk down that isle.

She was a stunning vision in white. Capped sleeves, off the shoulder collar and a long train. Her hair was surrounded by stunning white and yellow flowers. Instead of a bouquet, she held a picture of her family. They may not have physically been there but Yellow hoped they would be there in spirit.

We said our vows, only taking our eyes off of each other long enough to put on each others rings. We said the final words of our vows and were about to kiss when suddenly everyone gasped. I followed her gaze to see that the bottom half of her dress was wet.

To say it only scared the living soul out of me would be an understatement.

"Its happening!" She gasped. She clutched my sleeves, a combination of panic and excitement visible on her face. "Oh God, its happening! Why? I'm not due for another week!"

Blue rushed to Yellow's side, placing her sleepy son in Green's arms. "Yellow? We need to get you out of that dress. The ambulance won't be here in time, there's heavy traffic blocking the streets. We need to hurry! Green," She turned to me. "get your Charizard ready and keep Red calm." She turned to me. "Getting worked up won't help her or the baby. I'll have Sapphire and Crystal help me get her out of the dress so we'll have to move fast." She motioned for them to help her and they helped her out of the room.

Crystal shouted over her shoulder, "Gold! Get everyone out of here."

The breeder rolled his eyes, but turned to the crowd. "Okay everyone, you heard what my girlfriend said. Its time to head home. Sorry this wasn't the most romantic wedding you've ever seen." The crowd chuckled, but followed Gold's directions and everyone slowly filed outside.

Green patted my shoulder, careful not to disturb his own baby. "Well, no one can say this wasn't an exciting wedding."

Every time Yellow whimpered it felt like a lightning bolt went through my heart. She clutched my hand like a lifeline on Charizard's back as we soared to the hospital.

"You're doing fine Yellow!" Blue shouted from my Aero. She was a white as a sheet and she gripped Aero's legs so hard he looked more white than gray, but she never took her eyes off of Yellow. "Just keep breathing and keep calm."

Yellow nodded. "I'm fin-AH" She screamed and gripped my hand tighter. The pain on her face was becoming more apparent and she was growing whiter by the second.

"Please Charizard." I murmured. "Please go faster."

The dragon Pokemon complied.

The labor was long and they didn't have time to give Yellow the pain-numbing medication she needed. Apparently, the baby really wanted out.

My hand looked like a misshaped eggplant by the time the baby was out. Who knew Yellow was that strong? But I couldn't tug my hand away, not when she was so scared. With one final push, the baby was out.

"Its a girl!" The nurses happily announced over the baby's wailing. "And a healthy girl at that. Congrats you two!"

Yellow and I sighed in relief. Everything was finally over.

A nurse came in and handed us a certificate. "We need you to write her name down so we can tag her."

Yellow and I exchanged grins before Yellow grabbed the pen the nurse handed her and wrote down our little girl's name.
