Okay, here's a little parody of the last bit of Metroid: Other M. Hope you like it!

Samus watched the tiny baby metroid bobbing around. She aimed the cannon.

"Wait!" yelled a voice. She whirled around. Adam stood at the end of the long hall, holding a freeze gun. He wasn't wearing his helmet.

"Get back!" yelled Samus, and fired at the metroid. It burst like a water balloon. She turned. "Yes, Adam?"

"I didn't think you could do that. These metroids are supposed to be unfreezable," he said slowly, then shrugged. "But, apparently you can."

Samus groaned.

"Okay, what now? Any other surprises? Aside from the unfreezable metroids? Why on Earth would anyone make those? It's a really bad idea, you know."

"I have no idea. And just one more surprise. The whole facility has been taken over by MB, the program created to control the metroids. You met each other earlier, and she called herself Madeline Bergman."

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?

"I have no idea."

"Okay, anything else?"

"And all the rest of the metroids are inside Sector Zero. So, we have two options."

"Which are?"

"Sector Zero will detach and self destruct if enough damage is sustained. Which, of course would mean one of us would have to go on a suicide mission into Sector Zero."

"Or?"

"We could just activate it from the command bridge."

"Why would we even bother considering the first option?"

"I have no idea. Let's go."

They headed back to the Command Bridge and activated it.

"Imagine what would have happened if one of us had actually decided to go inside Sector Zero! How crazy would that have been!" laughed Adam.

"Yeah, especially since you forgot your helmet," giggled Samus. "Why on Earth would you do that?"

Adam frowned, then glanced down at the black helmet on the large panel. "I have no idea."

Samus laughed even harder.

"Hello," said a voice. It was MB. She had a freeze gun pointed at them. Samus aimed a missile at her. The android fell to the ground.

"Okay, all that's left now is Ridley."

"Oh, I passed his body in the hall," said another voice. Samus turned. Anthony stood there.

"You're alive!" she exclaimed, then thought of something. "Don't I usually fight Ridley twice? Why not?"

Adam shrugged. "I have no idea."

"This is just too easy. Any moment now, I'm going to wake up and find this was a dream."

She tried to pinch herself, but then realized she was wearing her Varian suit and it didn't do any good. She shrugged. If it was a dream, she didn't want to wake up.

"Anything else? And why didn't you contact me or Adam after you fell off that platform into the lava?"

Anthony shrugged.

"I have no idea."

Samus sighed.

Hope you all enjoyed that. I thought it very odd they didn't have a way to detach Sector Zero from anywhere on the Bottle Ship, since anyone who went inside to activate the self destruct sequence would probably be dead before they could. Criticism is welcome, but not flames. And, of course, please review!
