Struck Down, But Not Destroyed

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." - 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV)

A/N: Dean is hurt. AU set post-season 7. Warning: Sad.

Orange Crush

"I've got my spine, I've got my orange crush/We are agents of the free/I've had my fun and now it's time..." - Orange Crush, R.E.M.

"Sam... Sammy?"

"I'm right here, Dean"

"Ah, damn it, did we get 'em?"

"Yeah, they're all dead, man, every last Leviathan."

"Good... It hurts, Sam."

"I know... I'm sorry, I can't shift it... Don't try to move, help's coming... Dean?"

"'m thirsty..."

"Here you go."

"Orange Crush?"

"Is that okay? It's all I could find."

"Man, Dad hated that song... so much."

"I guess it was anti-war."

"Ha! Sam, I've still... got my... spine, though... yeah?"

"Er... *sob*... Can you believe that R.E.M. have broken up?"

"...We did get 'em didn't we, Sammy?"

"Yeah, we got 'em."

"Dean? Dean!"

A/N: Bobby reveals a secret. Follows on from 'Orange Crush', AU set post-season 7.

The Graduate to the Afterlife

"It's a little secret, just the Robinsons' affair/Most of all, you've got to hide it from the kids" – Mrs Robinson, Simon and Garfunkel.

"It's time to move on, Bobby"

"Yeah, s'pose so. I've had me a good innings, but I know when I've outstayed my welcome."

"We had some good times; even when we were trying to stop the end of the world."

"Seems like almost every week."

"Well, there're some good people waiting for you over there... Karen... D-Dean... Ellen and Jo..."

"Oh, those Harvelle's are gonna kick my ass for this. They always took Dean's side."

"Yeah, I know how he felt about Jo."

"He didn't have a crush on Jo, you idjit. She was like his sister..."

"Oh? Oh!"

A/N: The Winchesters boldly go where no hunter has gone before. This is the 'something different' part of the challenge: a Supernatural/Star Trek: Deep Space 9 crossover! Set in the alpha quadrant, 2374 (Stardate 51247.5)

Where No Hunter Has Gone Before

"The Orb of Time," breathed Captain Sisko, as Sam and Dean stepped from the swirling, purple light into the crush of the Promenade.

"Hey, your phaser must be set to stunning," smirked Dean at a laughing Jadzia. He'd been well briefed by Bobby that there was no woman more experienced than a joined Trill.

"Finally- a host body with a gender he can cope with," muttered Sam.

"Why have the prophets sent you?" asked the ever suspicious Major Kira.

"Heard you've got Pah-wraith troubles," smiled Sam, handing her a salt-round loaded shotgun. "Sometimes an old problem needs an old solution."

A/N: Before you all shout at me, it's canon that Dean prefers a more experienced woman! Thanks to Memory-Alpha {dot} org for all the DS9 trivia.
