"How can you say that you love me yet you want me to watch you sail away into battle?" asked the woman with dark brown hair and blue robes

"You know this is what I am. I can't change that." He said as he started putting on his armor.

"Yes you can. You just don't want to." She said as she walked away.

"Don't touch me." She said as he reached out to her arm.

"Aglaia." He said trying to get her to calm down.

"No. No. I can't. I can't watch you throw away your life to battle. I'm sorry." She said as she exited his house.

He stood there motionless as the woman that loved walked out.

"Goodbye, mother." Said Achilles as he made his way toward the shore to get on his boat.

"Achilles!" called out a woman from the shore

"Aglaia. I thought you weren't going to watch me sail away."

"I guess I couldn't bear not seeing you for one last time."

"So you still love me."

"I never said I stopped. I want you to have this." She said putting around his neck a strap with only one seashell. A seashell in a shape of a heart.

"I see you've been talking with my mother a lot now." He said

"She's a wise woman and we have something in common."

"You've always spoken your mind and that's what I love about you. But now, you're making it harder for me to leave."

"I never said I would make it easy. I wanted you to have this so you would know the love that I give is rare and true. And now, only you have it." She said placing her hand over the heart shaped seashell.

"I will always remember that."

"You will find someone there who you will love too. And you will forget about me."

"I don't think that will ever happen."

"I know that it will. I just want you to remember me for a little longer. Now you must go." She said giving him a little push towards the ship.

"Goodbye." She said as she walked back towards where his mother stood.

"Aglaia." He said going after her and kissing her as he placed his hands on her cheeks.

"I will always love you. No distance, no matter how long, can ever change that." He said as he placed his forehead on hers, gave it a kiss and got on the ship.
