As she looked up from her perch, nestled in the dark hollow of the Great Tree, Otulissa watched her two owlets, Monica and Dalton, sleep soundly in their nest. She leant over and snuggled down into Cleves chest with a sigh. Cleve, not asleep yet, preened Otulissa with utmost care, for she had only one eye. Otulissa slowly fell asleep, warm in her partners wings.
