The Reasons Why I Love You (Continued)
Hey, I'd just like to start off this story with a HUGE thank you to PercyJacksonROX, they're the author of this story and they let me adopt this story. The thing that I hope to happen is to try not to ruin this story. Note: If you are looking for anything inappropriate or other thing of that nature, this isn't what this story is about. If you haven't read the first 6 chapters on PercyJacksonROX's page, I would advise to do so right now, or this will be very confusing to you.
Percy's P.O.V
I watched in sheer terror as the van pulled away, taking away the girl I had always tried my hardest to save. While I was held down, I subconsciously came up with a plan to rescue Annabeth. I fought through the gang members, making sure every single one broke something. Afterwards, I ran to the nearest water fountain, and I fished out a drachma. I made a rainbow and tossed the drachma through, the rainbow taking it. "O, Iris, rainbow goddess, please let me see Athena, goddess of wisdom, Mt. Olympus, New York." I chanted, praying to any god or goddess who was listening to let her help me. Her face appeared, and she frowned upon my sudden interruption in her conversation with Apollo.
"What do you want, Perseus Jackson?" she asked coldly. "ANNABETH'S BEEN KIDNAPPED! YOU MUST HELP ME!" I yelled at her. Some passersby gave me a strange glance and proceeded along. Athena was taken aback by my sudden change of attitude (which she always remembered as arrogant and reckless), but she recovered her composure and asked me by whom. I told her, and she laughed. She laughed at the fact Annabeth was gone. This made me uncontrollably mad, and I yelled at her "YOU DO REALIZE YOUR DAUGHTER COULD GET KILLED, AND YOU ARE LAUGHING AT THIS? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?" This earned me a glare, and she said calmly, "I am laughing at how I was, for once, wrong about you. You are less reckless than I expected. The problem with this situation is that I can't go with you to help. However, I may be able to give you a gift that shall help you beyond measure." I asked her what it was, and she told me. We strategized for a little bit, and we then ended that connection. It was time to go and find Annabeth.
