Summary: Finally peace is brought to Knives and Vash's long lives.

Love Song

(3rd Person POV)

Three weeks passed since Millie and Knives' shared dream and Meryl and Vash's disappearance during the day and everything was strangely peaceful. For once no one was after Vash and the brothers were getting along. Knives was no longer plotting to end the human race. Millie was happier and so was Meryl. Their lives could not have been better.

The day Meryl and Vash had left Millie and Knives alone was the day they decided to find a judge and marry. They had returned home blissfully happy and barely noticed that Millie was upset over something. They spent the night making love, celebrating their union. They were in their own world. So much so, that it took them an entire week to realize that Millie and Knives were in a relationship and they were happy for them.

It took another week before Meryl and Vash were certain they could trust Knives and Millie alone. They decided to move out. They found a house next door, just as small as the one they were living in. Besides, they were expecting their first child and needed the space.

Millie and Knives were happy that Meryl and Vash had married and excited that they were going to become an aunt and uncle.

They dated consistently for several months, practically living as a married couple. They fought and made up like every other couple, but nothing major came between them.

Knives became a father to Mathew. He taught the toddler the best he could and Matt looked up to Knives.

So, it did not surprise anyone, a month after Lily Stryfe was born, that Millie and Knives married.

Finally, Vash had the life he always wanted and Knives had the life he didn't know he wanted. Everything was finally in place in the twin's lives.
