Special shout out to my beta amandac3. Love you so much baby!
So I know it's been a long time since we have visited with Helios and Bella so I thought I would give you all a little present on this beautiful Christmas Day. This takes place six months before the epilogue. Their first Christmas in their new home.
A Helios Christmas
Edward walked towards the bedroom to see if Bella was ready to leave. They were supposed to be at the Whitlock's in thirty minutes and he hated to be late. Too many years in the system had him accustomed to routines and schedules. As he entered their room he was not prepared for what he saw. Bella was lying on the bed in nothing but her pink lace panties. He smirked and involuntarily licked his lips as he pulled his shirt up and over his head, stopping at the foot of the bed to unbutton his jeans. Bella rose from her position and sat up on her knees to watch him disrobe before her.
"Helios," she whispered as her arms outstretched for him.
He didn't hesitate. He would never deny her anything especially when it involved him getting to bury himself deep inside her. In one move he was on the bed, mimicking her position. Her mouth parted as he approached her. His handsome face often stunned her, it was never just his fine features but the deepness reflected in his eyes that always took her breath away. The minute he was in range, her mouth found his. She knew they would be late but she didn't care, she needed him. Their kiss intensified, as it always did, and Edward's manhood rose to the occasion.
"Turn around, Bella," Edward said roughly.
Bella didn't hesitate as she repositioned herself so that her back was now flush against his bare chest. His mouth moved to her neck as he kissed and sucked her flesh between his teeth. His hand gently moved up her rib cage, leaving a trail of Goosebumps in its wake, until he was lightly caressing her collarbone. He worked his way to her breast, tweaking her nipple before kneading it in his strong hand. Meanwhile, he allowed his other hand to travel down her body, slipping into her lace panties.
"Helios, oh God, baby," Bella moaned in delight.
"Do you like that?" he asked as his tongue moved languidly up her neck to circle her earlobe.
Bella's body trembled as his fingers teased her opening. She parted her mouth to answer his question but all that escaped was a whimpered moan. As he kissed along her shoulder, he increased his ministrations on her sensitive clit. She was ready to ignite and he knew it. He tweaked and teased her nipple some more while allowing his long fingers to move up and over her clit before finally entering her. In a fervor, she moved her hands behind her body and began squeezing his thighs tightly.
"Edward, fuck, oh God, fuck me," Bella screamed out, ravenous for him.
Edward removed his hand from her underwear as he pushed her forward. Bella tilted her head so she could see him. She always needed to see him. He was magnificent. His toned abs and defined pecs hidden under ink, ink that masked a life he should have never had to live, a life that still, on occasion, haunted him. When her eyes moved up to meet his she found him watching her, his eyes exponentially darker as he playfully moved his cock over her panties from the top of her ass to her now wet crotch.
"Lower your panties, Bella," he said in a raw and husky tone.
Bella quickly pushed her panties as far down as she could and moments later she felt him enter her. She was already so close to her release that she knew there was a strong possibility that she would cum way too soon but there was little time and Helios was just that good. Her cries of pleasure increased as he started pumping faster, his breaths ragged. Bella turned her head again and saw it, her favorite face of all, that strained look of pleasure he always had as he approached his release. His brow furrowed and he let out a gurgled grunt accompanied with that wonderful vein she loved so much. She turned and dropped her head on the comforter, gripping the spread as she screamed in ecstasy, her walls vibrating around his pulsing cock.
"Bellaaaaa," he hissed as he pushed into her one last time, finding his release.
His head dropped on her back as he caught his breath, laying soft kisses on her skin and hearing her contented sighs in response. He pulled his hips back and withdrew from her. She always felt so good. His fingers traced her back as he sat up on his knees. A smirk passed his face as he slapped her ass. Bella whipped her head around and narrowed her eyes.
"Come on. We're going to be late."
She rolled on her back, closing her eyes, a smile etched on her face as the bed moved and he rose. With half closed lids she watched him slip on his jeans and grab his t-shirt from the floor before walking out of the room. She wasn't sure what had come over her this morning. She only knew that she was in desperate need of him.
"Bella," he plopped on the bed next to her and soon she felt a warm washcloth wiping her down. "I thought you were looking forward to this."
"I am," she moaned softly at his touch. A moment later she rolled over on her side to face him. "Do you realize that the last Christmas party you and I attended turned out kind of sucky?"
"It wasn't all bad," he smirked as he remembered sneaking off to give her oral pleasure. She grinned, remembering as well. He gently traced her cheek with his fingers. "Bella, that was in New York, this is a get together at the Whitlock's. I don't think they're capable of being assholes like Jacob or Alec were," he finished with a shrug.
She winced at the mere mention of her previous employers. "Alright, give me a few minutes."
He kissed her softly on the lips, setting her body on fire again before abruptly stopping and jumping off the bed. When he saw her pouting face he chuckled, pecking her lips once. "Get ready."
She rolled her eyes and sat up while Edward walked out of the bedroom. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he wandered into the living room. He stopped at their tree and smiled. Bella loved live trees; she nearly took his head off when he suggested an artificial one. Last Christmas, in New York, was the first time he had ever done the whole Christmas thing and this year she said that they should really do it up. Edward smiled as he remembered finding their tree.
"How about this one?" he asked.
"It's too small," Bella replied as she moved further down the line of fresh cut trees.
They had been at the tree farm for an hour already. Edward didn't see much of a difference between any of the trees but Bella was determined. She would let her hand run across the pine branches and shake her head. If she weren't so utterly adorable Edward would have been annoyed. He wanted to find one quickly though as he remembered vividly the fun they had decorating her apartment last year and was eager to see what shenanigans they could get into this year. She stopped at a large tree and reached out her hand to it. She had a look of wonderment and reflection on her face. His hand stroked her back as he kissed her softly on the cheek while his other hand moved over hers so they could both touch the branches together.
"I like this one," he said serenely.
"Me too," she said not looking at him. "This is our first Christmas in our own home."
He nodded as she turned to him. She had tears in her eyes.
"Do you understand how special that is, baby?"
He nodded again, feeling choked up as well.
"Our own place, no one can tell us to leave, no one can discriminate against you," she ran her hand down his face lovingly, "you'll always have a home," tears streaked her face, "with me."
He pulled her body close to her, kissing her. His hand crept into her hair, holding her mouth to his. He was overwhelmed with emotion. He didn't realize that the reason she was being so meticulous was for him. To show him how much she loved him. How could he be so blind?
"You okay, Helios?" Bella asked coming into the living room.
He offered her a small smile, "Yes, you look beautiful."
"You like," she said turning around so he could see the full outfit.
Edward looked her up and down. She was wearing a short red dress, exposing a large part of her back. She had her hair pulled back, drawing attention to her bare skin. Edward growled and touched the skin showing. He knew she did this on purpose just to drive him crazy all evening.
"Come on, Helios," she said with a laugh and took his hand.
Liam checked his watch and shook his head. Bella and Edward were late. He chuckled softly as he remembered what he and Eleazar had been like in the beginning of their relationship. They had been late to many family functions because one or both of them had wanted one last kiss, one last embrace, which usually ended in them making love. He brought a platter to the table and smiled as he watched Eleazar, who was standing talking to Alice and Jasper. He was still so very handsome. Sensing Liam's watchful gaze, Eleazar glanced in his direction, smiling before saying something to Jasper.
Eleazar watched Liam flitter about, making sure everything was in order. This was actually the first Christmas they hadn't gone to Ireland. Alice and Jasper had stayed behind. She was not having the easiest pregnancy and Jasper was refusing to have her fly. Liam didn't hesitate to suggest they all stay home and do something here. Eleazar had suspected that although Liam missed their annual trek to his homeland he enjoyed making their house so decorative, something he didn't usually do as they were generally gone most of December. He saw Liam check his watch again. Bella and Edward were late and wreaking havoc on Liam's fine-tuned schedule. When the knock on the door came he looked to it and Eleazar could see the stress wash away from him.
"I'll get it," Jasper said smiling.
Eleazar laughed, "Good, I'll go see if dad needs any help."
Jasper grinned as he watched him walk over and talk to him. He touched his cheek lovingly before walking passed him to get something from the cabinet. Jasper turned to Alice and took her hand, leading her to the door. The minute Alice saw Bella she grabbed her in a tight hug. Jasper and Edward both shook their heads at them. Every time they saw each other they acted as if they had not seen one another in years. Jasper reached out and gave Edward a quick manly, pat on the back, hug.
"You're late, man, my dad's OCD was about to kick in," Jasper said with a laugh.
"What's that?" Edward asked concerned.
Jasper grinned and shook his head, "It's nothing bad, he just likes things a certain way, especially when it involves entertaining."
Edward nodded as they entered. "It was her fault," he said with a knowing smirk as he pointed his thumb in Bella's direction.
"You weren't complaining, Helios," Bella countered with a smile.
Suddenly there was laughter in the kitchen and all four looked in that direction to see both Liam and Eleazar talking close together, wide smiles on their faces as they remembered a very similar situation when Jasper was young. Edward looked at Jasper as if to ask what was up but Jasper simply shrugged.
"Who knows? They've been acting strange all day."
"Oh wow!" Bella said looking around.
The Whitlock's had transformed their home into a Christmas oasis. A large festive wreath hung above the mantel while poinsettias adorned every nook available. Holly was placed in the corners of the room, connected by live garland that had crystal ornaments hanging loosely from it. Based on the Whitlock's penchant for buying the best of anything Bella imagined those were probably real crystal baubles. In the corner stood a large Douglas Fir Christmas tree that must have been at least 10 ft., maybe taller, decorated in what looked like antique hand painted ornaments. There were several boxes of varying sizes underneath it. Even the dining room was fully decked out with holiday themed china while the high back chairs were beautifully adorned with garland and small Christmas ivy interspersed. The Whitlock's had clearly outdone themselves.
"It's amazing, isn't it?" Alice squealed in delight.
"I'm seriously lacking in the decorating department." Bella joked.
"Man, you said your dad's decorated their place but damn, this is incredible," Edward stated in awe. "It reminds me of all those shops in New York."
"It does, doesn't it?" Jasper laughed remembering the epic shopping spree Alice put him on when they visited Edward and Bella last year. "Well, we are usually gone so I think dad went a tad bit overboard," Jasper said shaking his head.
"Just a little bit," Liam said with a warm smile as he offered Bella and Edward a glass of wine.
"Thank you, Mr. Whitlock," Bella beamed.
"Bella, we're not at the office. Please call me Liam."
"Sorry, Liam, it's a hard habit to break."
"El," Liam turned to find him approaching with a glass of wine for Jasper and a glass of non-alcohol based cider for Alice.
"I'm here." He offered Jasper and Alice their drinks. "Are you guy's hungry?" he asked Edward and Bella.
"Starving," Edward said louder than he intended but he couldn't help it. He was always hungry after sex but this was worse because they had a light lunch since they knew they were eating at the Whitlock's.
"Well, that's good because there is plenty," Liam said with a laugh.
Liam and Eleazar led everyone to the table where they were seated. Both Bella and Edward stared at all the food set before them. Everything looked amazing. Roasted duckling, glazed ham, fresh vegetables, baked red potatoes, tamales, beans, homemade rolls, fresh tortillas and salsa, green salad, and even the pecan candies that Bella loved so much were in a small crystal bowl before her. They couldn't believe how much food was on the table for only six people.
"El, can you say grace?" Liam asked.
Eleazar smiled at him and stood. He began speaking in Spanish. Bella could understand little bits here and there. She recognized the word family and love, she also recognized words of thanks but the rest just sounded like the impassioned plea of a man grateful for the gifts he'd been given. It was moving and she had to fight the urge to cry as she held Edward's hand under the table. Thankful that they had found one another.
"Amen," everyone finished.
The conversations at the table were light and fun. Music and movies were hot topics as were plans for the new baby. Finally the topics moved to work as Eleazar asked how Bella enjoyed working with Liam. Bella gleefully talked about the opportunity she had been given, how thankful she was that Liam had wanted to expand his practice and that he had asked Bella to help him with that. Bella was already developing contacts and had a few regular clients. Edward smiled at her and continued to eat, still feeling flustered that he had been unable to find a job yet. Bella always told him it was okay but he never felt it should be okay.
"Edward, how's the job hunting coming along?" Eleazar asked.
Those at the table were silent. Edward sighed and looked up from his food, "It's difficult but not sure there is anything I can do about that."
Eleazar looked at Liam who was smirking. Jasper was staring at the two of them, upset. He couldn't believe they were bringing this up tonight, at the table no less. They knew how hard Edward was trying and that the stigma of his status on the registry closed a lot of doors for him. He turned to Edward and reached his fist out.
"It's gonna happen, man, I know it," Jasper said with the fierceness of a loyal friend.
Edward tapped his fist against Jaspers and nodded.
"We'd like to help on that front," Eleazar interrupted.
"What are you talking about?" Jasper asked confused.
"Thanks for the thought, Mr. Whitlock, but I," he paused, trying to decide how to say he was not equipped to work in an office.
"Edward, Jasper," Liam interjected. "El and I would like to give you our gift now."
Edward and Jasper looked at each other and then Liam and Eleazar. Eleazar rose and walked to the curio cabinet and reached inside, grabbing two identical envelopes. He turned to Liam and winked before facing the table again. Liam rose and stood with Eleazar, resting his hand on his lower back. He was dying to see their reaction.
"Boys, we were going to wait, but we can't see putting this off any longer," Eleazar began and handed an envelope to Jasper and one to Edward.
Edward looked at it and then Bella, who nodded for him to open it. He carefully tore the top of the envelope and withdrew what looked like legal papers. He turned to Bella again, confused. She reached for the papers and started flipping through them and suddenly gasped, looking up at Eleazar and Liam.
"What did you do?" Jasper whispered.
"We purchased Marco's old garage," Liam answered.
"And put it in yours and Edward's name," Eleazar finished happily.
"We also started a bank account under your names with some startup capital," Liam continued.
"You only need to go in and sign papers and of course decide on a name," Eleazar picked up.
Edward looked at Jasper, "What's this mean?"
Jasper's mouth opened and closed several times. "They're giving us a business," he said in shock.
Edward's eyes widened, realization setting in. He started shaking his head. "This is too much."
"It's not," Liam said assuredly.
"It is dad, I…" Jasper stuttered, trying to find the words.
Liam scrunched his brows and looked at Eleazar, confused. He had thought they would be happy about this. Liam and Eleazar both knew how hard it had been for Edward and, in turn, for Jasper. Jasper was going to be a father now. He needed to be able to work on his own. He couldn't rely on them anymore but he hadn't found anything he liked. One night a few months ago Liam had seen a for sale sign outside of Marco's garage. He had talked to Eleazar about it later that evening thinking that maybe they should buy Marco's and let the boys run a bike shop out of it. It was something they both enjoyed so much.
"It's an amazing gift but I can't accept it. It's too much. I'm already indebted to you two for more than I could ever repay," Edward said sadly.
"You guys already bought our house," Jasper interjected flustered. "I can't have you buy me a job as well. Don't you think I can find something on my own?" Jasper asked hurt.
Eleazar ran his hand over his hair, disconcerted. "Son, that's not what we were thinking."
"We have total faith in you, Jasper," Liam exclaimed quickly. "I saw that Marco was selling his shop. Edward is already a mechanic and you, son, well, you're self-taught. We know how much you both like bikes. We thought maybe you two would enjoy starting a bike shop or something." He looked down and then at Eleazar "We were only trying to help."
Everyone was quiet. Liam was unable to mask his sadness at the turn of events while Eleazar stood frustrated. He hated seeing Liam upset and was confused by the response they had gotten. Edward was looking at the papers, moved by the gesture but also troubled as well. Bella was running her hands along his shoulders, not sure how to help. Finally it was Alice who spoke first.
"Jazz, this is what I dreamed the other night, remember?" she said touching his hand.
He looked over at her, his face straining. "But I want to do it on my own. I can't have my parents bailing me out all the time."
"Is that really how you see it, Jasper?" Liam asked, unable to hide his hurt.
"Jasper, son, we only wanted to help you but if that's how you feel we'll back off because the last thing we want is for you to feel you can't do it on your own," Eleazar finished.
"Maybe if it was a… loan. Something we could pay back?" Edward questioned.
Jasper turned to Edward and nodded. Eleazar and Liam looked at each other. They could work with that, especially if it meant that Jasper felt he could take care of himself. They had always protected him, shielded him and maybe they went over board at times trying to make his life as perfect as they could.
"Okay, I will draw up something to make it official," Eleazar said, determined.
The rest of the evening went extremely well. Talk was light and jovial; an amazing dessert of pecan pie, with homemade ice-cream was served. Then everyone retired to the living room where talk continued about the shop. The more Edward and Jasper talked about it, the more excited they became about the prospect of working together.
"We should go check it out tomorrow," Jasper said enthusiastically.
"Then I can sketch some ideas for what we want to do inside," Edward continued equally ecstatic.
"Ummm, no way!" Alice interrupted their plans.
"Why not?" Jasper pouted.
"Tomorrow is Christmas. You guys can wait another day and go on the 26th."
He laughed, "You're right, sorry babe."
He then proceeded to turn away from her and talk with Edward enthusiastically. Alice glanced at Bella who was smiling as she watched Edward. She hadn't seen him this animated in a long time. She knew that not being able to find a job was really wearing on him. She was always encouraging but she felt sometimes that he thought she was merely placating him. The fact he would have his own business with his best friend was truly a miracle she never expected.
"What a night?" Bella said as they entered their house.
"It was," Edward concurred, coming up behind her and kissing along her neck.
Bella turned, their lips touched as her hand moved to his jeans, stealthily unbuttoning them as he groaned in her mouth, nibbling on her bottom lip. With unbridled passion, he shoved his hand in the v of her dress cupping and squeezing her breasts before popping them out of her bra. His mouth was on them seconds later, teasing and tweaking her nipples as Bella moaned and writhed against him. He backed her up against the couch as he bent further, ripping her panties off of her.
"Edwarddddd, she moaned as he grabbed her breast in one hand and guided his cock into her with the other.
He grunted as he shoved into her forcefully while Bella clawed at his shoulder blades. His passion overwhelmed her at times but ultimately she always loved when he got this way. He pounded into her over and over, bringing her body to the brink of ecstasy, and then suddenly he stopped and withdrew from her.
"What's the matter?" Bella gasped out.
He kissed her lightly. "Hold on," he said softly.
A moment later he was gone. Bella was confused as she watched him walk towards their bedroom. Her body was on fire. She was almost tempted to bring about her own orgasm that was so close but she wouldn't deny him that. When he returned he had their comforter over his arm but Bella was distracted by his cock which was sticking straight out. He took her hand and started walking her towards their tree.
"You staring at my cock, Bella?" he asked with a quirk of his brow.
"Hell, yes I am. It's so purty," she said reaching out to stroke him.
He laughed, "My cock is pretty, huh?" She nodded as he laid the blanket down, "Lay down, Bella." He ordered.
She did as she was told and watched him walk to the switch to turn on the tree lights while he turned off the other light that was on. He then went to the docking station on the mantel and clicked on the Michael Bublé Christmas album she made him listen to all the time. When he approached her again he was standing above her, stroking himself with a cocky smirk on his face. His body was an inked dream; perfection personified and, simply put, a fantasy that she was lucky enough to live with on a daily basis. She knew that some may look at him with all his tattoos and see a criminal. While others might touch the track marks on his arm and simply deem him an addict. Some may even look on the registry and discount him because of his sex offender status. All those things may have been true about Edward but as she looked at him right now, the lights from the Christmas tree they had selected together illuminating his absolutely perfect features, all she saw was the man she loved.
Bella leaned up on her elbows, "I love you, Helios."
He smiled, "I love you too. More than my own life."
Moments later he was on top of her, kissing her with all the love he possessed. His cock knowing exactly what it wanted slid inside her easily as he gently moved his hips. They made love, in front of their tree, in their own home, and with the knowledge that he would be able to take care of her in the way she deserved to be taken care of. He could prove once and for all to himself and to all those that doubted him that the sacrifices she made for him were not in vain, that her love, their love, was not a mistake. He made love to her, finally feeling in his heart and mind that he was able to be the man he always wanted to be for her, a man worthy of her love.
