Maybe I Won't Look Back

You can be who you choose to be
But whether you do, or whether you don't
Depends on your priorities
And I know that it's not easy

Quinn looked at the clock. It was one in the morning. She didn't understand it. She could walk again…she was going to Yale in the fall…She and Santana and Rachel were going to spend a week just having fun in New York before school started…she got one last summer with her friends.

So why couldn't she sleep?

It wasn't a bad feeling she had, per se. It was just…a nagging thing. Like there was one piece of her puzzle of awesomeness that hadn't been placed yet. One that could be done without to see the picture, but had to be there to make it complete. But everything was perfect….

She looked over at her bulletin board—at the pictures from Nationals—and smiled when she saw the one of her and Rachel. It did still feel weird, calling the brunette a friend.

That was it.

She threw on sweats and grabbed her purse and keys. It had to be done tonight, or she'd never get to sleep.

Fifteen minutes later, she was outside of Rachel's house, texting her to come outside. She waited, and finally saw Rachel peek out of the door, and walk towards the car.

"Is everything okay, Quinn?"

"For every single thing I ever put you through…I'm sorry."

Rachel stared at her for a moment, and then smiled and pulled her into a hug. "Forgiven."

I'm looking for the peace to find some sleep tonight
'Cause I'm
Not very proud of the way I have lived today
Well maybe I won't look back
Feel like time has gone and passed me by
Maybe I won't look back
