"Look out!"

"Going hero!"

"No! The self-destruct will accelerate!"

"I don't care!"

BOOM!

Twilight Sparkle woke up in alarm. She kept on having the same dream for the past few weeks for no apparent reason. But every time she had it, it felt like she was experiencing Deja Vu. But why?

"Let me guess, you had the mutant plant dream again," Spike guessed.

"Yeah," Twilight Sparkle answered. "But this time, it felt so...real. Like it really was a part of my life. If only I could figure out why."

As if on cue, Spike coughed up another letter. "That's weird," he said. "It's not from Princess Celestia."

"Let me see that," Twilight Sparkle said as she used her magic to take the letter from Spike.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

It's been a while since I last saw you, but I need you to come over to Canterlot right away. I found this strange device buried right outside my house last night and it suddenly attached itself to me. Luckily, I was able to use magic to disguise it as a watch. But I still don't know what it is, so maybe you can help me out.

Your favorite cousin,
Firecracker Burst

PS: There's a picture of the device on the back of this message.

Twilight Sparkle looked at the picture. The moment she saw the device her cousin mentioned, strange images appeared in her mind. She also heard unusual voices in her head. When it was all over, she knew exactly what she had to do.

"So that's why I have to go to Canterlot for a while," Twilight Sparkle explained.

Pinkie Pie looked at the picture. "What IS that?" she asked.

"The Omnitrix," Twilight Sparkle answered. "A powerful device that allows the wearer to become different aliens."

"And you know this how...?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I don't know," Twilight Sparkle admitted. "But it feels like I've seen it before. That's why I have to go to Canterlot. Firecracker doesn't know what she's dealing with and I need to help her out."

"Hold on a second!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed. "You're not going without the rest of us!"

"Not this time, Pinkie," Twilight Sparkle said. "This is something I have to handle alone."
