Olivia walked forward and sat down on her husband's desk. His eyes wandered up the luscious body. Olivia smirked and leaned forward and kissed his nose.

"How's work?" She asked pulling away. Fox smiled and leaned back in his chair.

"Same old, same old. What about you?"

"Bored." She sighed frustrated. "I dropped Audrey off at daycare an hour ago and been bored ever since." Olivia pouted and Mulder chuckled. He rose and tilted Olivia's chin up towards him.

"Awe, someone's having separation problems." Olivia stuck her tongue out at him and pushed him away playfully.

"Smart ass." She called out.

"Just telling it as it is, baby." Fox said holding his hands up. Olivia turned and pretended to be mad. She risked a glance at Mulder to see his face bright and him grinning. She rolled her eyes and sat back on the edge of the desk.

"What time do you think you'll be home?" She sighed.

"Don't think I will be coming home tonight." He picked up a file to examine it. "Me and El are working on this big case right now." Olivia's face fell.

"Again? This will be the third week you haven't been home." She whined.

"I'm sorry." He looked up at her.

"Al'ight, but you'll definitely be home Wednesday for Audrey's Birthday right?" She asked quietly. Fox lifted his head stupefied.

"That's this Wednesday? Oh Liv I completely forgot. I can't I'm due in court." He said his voice full of guilt. Olivia's eyes flared in anger.

"What? This is our daughter! How can you pick your work over her?" Olivia yelled.

"Liv, look-" he said trying to explain. He reached out to touch her, but she slapped his hand away.

"No! I gave up everything for her. And you!" Fox let his temper get the best of him.

"And you think I didn't? I moved thousands of miles away from my home, gave up my life's work for her, for you! I gave up my Partner and best friends to be here for you and her. And its not like I had a choice, you were pregnant for god's sake!" Olivia's mouth dropped.

Fox closed his eyes as regret filled his veins. That did not come out like he had intended it to. "Liv, I-I'm sorry." He apologized. Olivia shook her head; she was on the verge of tears.

"No, I'm sorry." She looked into his eyes. "I'm sorry that I took your life away from you, but as of this moment…" she paused and took off her wedding ring. "…you can have it back." She threw the ring in his face and stormed out of the 1-6th precinct.

Fox moaned and looked at the ring. He felt the cold eyes of the squad on him. He flinched lightly. He groaned and ran after her calling her name. Olivia barely made down stairs when she heard Mulder calling her name. She quickened her pace.

"Olivia wait!" Fox said forcefully, grabbing her arm, spinning her around. Her face was red and puffy. Her eyes were hazy and red, tears dripping ever so slightly from her eyes. "Please wait. I'm sorry Liv, that didn't come out right at all. I Love you and Audrey. You both are the world to me." Olivia just starred at him.

"Liv, I'd be lost without you. I mean…" he looked around. "…there's no one else that I could ever see myself with. Olivia, I'd rather be alone than without you." Olivia starred into his eyes her anger and sadness fading. She parted her lips and crumbled into him, her arms wrapping tight around him. Mulder wrapped his arms around her and planted a kiss onto her forehead.

"I'm sorry." Fox whispered. Olivia nodded and sniffed. Mulder pulled back a little and lifted her chin with his fingers and kissed her. "I'll ask Cragen for time off alright." Olivia smiled and kissed him once more.
