He was an idiot, but he was her idiot.
Disclaimer: Don't own Dennou Coil.
He was an idiot.
No matter how many times she told him how to do the laundry (always make sure to separate the colours from the whites), that he needed to remember to switch off the lights when leaving a room (their electric bill was always so high) or that he should wipe off his shoes when entering their apartment (she had to clean up the mud after him), he'd never learn.
It drove her crazy. Sometimes she wanted to smack some sense in that guy.
But then, occasionally, he'd come home after another day's work and he'd walk over to where she was sitting on the couch. A soft, endearing kiss on the top of her head and a dandelion in his hand.
"A beautiful flower for my beautiful girl," he'd say, wearing the biggest goofy smile.
And then she'd think that perhaps he was an idiot, but he was her idiot and she loved him for it.
