Dexter Reed was in front of the cash register at Good Burger.

"Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger. Can I take your order?" Dexter said unenthusiastically.

"One Good Burger, please," the customer said.

Dexter pressed buttons on the register and it opened. American dollars floated out of the cash register.

"Let us come with you Dex."

"Fly with us Dex!"

Dex started flying along with the dollars.

"Wow! Put me down! This is awfully weird!"

Dex was woken up from the dream by the sound of the telephone by his bed. He looked at his clock. It was 9:45 A.M. Dex picked up the phone and answered.

"Dexter, it's Mr. Bailey."

"Why are you calling me. It's my day off. I wanted to sleep until noon."

"Ed's not here and we need someone to fill in for him."

"I'm sure he'll show up at the last minute."

"Can't take that chance. Good Burger opens in fifteen minutes. Get over here so we don't have another Ed fiasco."

"Ah! Fine!"

Dex got dressed in his work uniform.

"Dang! I smell! I need to shower! But there's no time to take this off."

Dex got in the shower and turned it on as he wore the uniform. He put some shampoo in his hair.

"When did my life go down the drain?"
