A Bloody, Jelly Bean-Filled Romance
Hey guys! So this is my first fic! I wrote it with my friend ,~Killer~, and am very proud of it. I hope you like it. Please review. Any comments are welcome. Enjoy!
"I can't believe you talked me into this, Lindsey."
"Stop being a baby; you know how morbid I am. This place is like heaven to me, with the blood, deaths, and killing!" She said with said with a creepy, morbid smile, showing sharp teeth that she had filed.
That's true, Kelsie thought.
Kelsie and Lindsey had been friends for as long as they could remember (though people wondered why). Lindsey wore nothing but black and purple had a morbid sense of humor. She was also completely obsessed with anything having to do with serial killers or just death in general. While Kelsie on the other hand was calm and smart, had a wittiness about her, and was possibly the only person able to handle Lindsey's antics. She loved bright mornings unlike Lindsey's love for the night. They were complete opposites but that's what made their friendship unique and they liked it that way.
They had just gotten out of school for summer break and, on an act of pure randomness, decided to go on a big road trip. Just a few days ago they had stopped at a famous science museum that Kelsie had picked (much to Lindsey's annoyance) and now it was Lindsey's turn to pick the next destination. And knowing Lindsey, Kelsie knew she more than likely pick the most creepy, morbid, or death related place within the state. And, of course, she was right. She had picked a place called Crystal Lake to stay the night at.
"Why do we have to stay the night in the camp anyways? The place is old and, from the looks of the pics we saw online, super creepy,"Kelsie whined as she adjusted the temperature of the car.
"Stop crying! You chose the last place. Plus, the creepier the better. Oh! Oh! You think we will see the famous killer, Jason Voorhees?" Lindsey asked as she bounced in her seat.
Kelsie sighed and rolled her eyes. Lindsey was obsessed with the famed killer. Ever since she stumbled on that news article two years ago about a hockey-masked psycho who use to kill teens at a lake, she fell head over heels for him. Kelsie tried to tell her she "couldn't be in love with an over glorified killer who basically no longer existed" but Lindsey just ignored her and continued down the road of insanity driven love.
"Linds, that was years ago. That guy is probably dead already…if he was even real. The place is basically a tourist attraction now."
"Way to crush my dreams, Kels. Way. To. Go. Now I'm all depressed and junk. Jelly Beans, pick me up!" Lindsey yelled while faking a sad face.
As Lindsey started to gobble down the colorful candy, Kelsie couldn't help but take a glance at her black clad friend from her place in the driver's seat and chuckle.
"You know, you've been eating practically nothing but jelly beans since we got out of school. I think your addicted and should get professional help."
"I'm not addicted…I'm just a lil' insane which causes me to eat them." Lindsey said with a giggle as she smiled sheepily.
"Why do I even bother?" Kelsie thought as she shook her head.
After a few more hours of driving, they finally arrived at Camp Crystal. Hopping out of the car, Lindsey ran around it with energy supplied by a mix of excitement and a sugar high.
"Land, sweet land! I'm surprised you didn't kill us hitting that opossum." Lindsey yelled as she started running in circles and started to sing,"Blood , blood, I want gallons of the stuff, YEAH!" She then ran full speed at her annoyed friend, yelling, "Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!", and falls to the ground from her sugar whip-lash.
