P.S.: Everyone give a thanks to Nala1220 he/she was the reason I got back into it and who brought back my attention to this story with her review.

Inuyasha couldn't help but scowl, as lightning flashed, thunder sounded and the torrential downpour started signaling a tropical storm. Luckily, he could watch this all from the inside of a natural cave, tunneled in through the side of a cliff face. Ever since the first flashes of lightning he had automatically set out to look for shelter and was happy with the results. Now he had a cheery little fire cooking the rabbit he caught, skinned, and gutted as he waited for the rain to pass.

The down pour had just started in earnest when she had entered his temporary dwelling. Soaked to the bone with long ebony hair sticking to her face, and her white yukata and green hakama equally as heavy with water.

Embarrassingly it only dawned on him later that he should have been much more alert to this new presence even if she was only human, Yet his back against the farthest cave wall, and the steady heat of the fire as it slowly roasted the rabbit had lulled him into a drowsy state of being and he had been at the time only able to stare as the girl tried to wring out the excess water from her shirt. It was only after she was done her task the he was properly able to feel his senses warning him of possible danger and very slowly he drew himself further into the shadows of the cave.

Still the girls eyes found his own, and she granted him one of the most luminous smiles he'd ever seen.

"Sorry for barging in like that its just the weather, it caught me off guard and I'll just be here until it slows down a bit if you don't mind."

Inuyasha stared at the girl, while still keeping himself covered in the shadows of the cave. She didn't seem dangerous, but he could smell the miko powers literately leaking out her. It was disconcerting and made his own Youkai growl in dislike.

"My name is Kagome," the girl offered tentatively if only just to kill the awkward silence. She stood there a moment longer in silence before her face took only a determined look, "Look I just told you my name, so its only polite that you tell me yours and answer my question!"

She punctuated her statement with a stamp of her foot. Still, Inuyasha remained silent studying the girl, although she was carrying a bow on her back she didn't seem to have a quiver on her, and she really did look harmless. Suddenly, the girl whirled and started to walk back towards the entrance of the cave. Realizing she was leaving, Inuyasha reached out toward her.

"Stop! Wait! You can stay."

The Hanyou spoke before he could stop himself.

The girl whirled flashing him a grin, "It's about time you Spok-HANYOU!" Kagome's eyes were wide in surprised and she drew her bow. "Don't step any closer," she spoke her eyes narrowed at him. Inuyasha growled at her, and then berated himself, after all he was trying to get the girl to stay not scare her. He then stepped back and raised his hands to show her he meant her no harm.

"Relax human, I'm not going to do anything to you."

Kagome stared at the boy dubiously, before lower her bow, " You're a demon how can I trust you."

Inuyasha rolled his eyes "Because I'm also half human."

The girl smiled then, "Of course you are. So you said I can stay?" Lowering his arms and sitting back down against the wall Inuyasha nodded at the girl.

"Great, because seriously I would've hated to have to purify you."Kagome said.

"With what an arrow-less bow? I hardly think you can kill me with that."

Kagome smirked, "I don't need arrows, my purifying powers are so great that can create bows with them."

Inuyasha's eyes narrowed sightly as he looked at the bow in her hands. "Yeah," he murmured, " I could smell it on you."

They sat in silence for a while longer each mulling over their own thoughts before Kagome again, opened her mouth to speak, " I'm came down here to gather herbs and berries for medicine back home. I'm studying under Lady Kykyo and miss Kaede. They're both miko's but Kaede doesn't have much of her own power and Kykyo is probably the best miko in the whole of Japan. She's even a great healer and both humans and youkai call for her."

Kagome waited expectantly, looking at the hanyou to see if he would now share something of himself. Inuyasha just turned the rabbit over in the fire and ignored her. The girl huffed in exasperation.

"You know, now it's your turn to share something about yourself, like why are you here and where you're headed...unless, you don't live here do you?" Kagome asked looking around the cave in dislike.

The hanyou stayed quiet and for a second Kagome was afraid that she had offended him and therefor he would not answer.

"I'm trying to escape an arrange mating."

"Oh wow, is she dreadful? Do you not love her?" Kagome asked in her eagerness for the gossip.

"No, nothing like that I'm...I'm a breeder. Do you know what that is?"

Kagome nodded, and smiled at him encouragingly.

"Well as a breeder, I'm being mated to a male youkai. And I hate him."

Kagome frowned at the utter dislike she heard the boy's voice. She reached over and patted his knee gently in hopes of giving comfort, she could never imagine herself mated to someone she hated and completely empathized with the poor hanyou.

"Have you tried talking to him," she asked, " maybe if you just tell him that this mating wont ever be pleasant he'll understand."

Inuyasha chuckled mirthlessly before reaching over for the now cooked rabbit and ripping of a leg for the girl to eat and another for himself. Once he finished his first bite he continued.

"I'm to be mated to the western Daiyoukai, and he wants me! I highly doubt that talking to him will help."

Kagome stared at the boy, a million cogs fitting and working in her head.

"Your name wouldn't happened to be Inuyasha would it?" She asked tentatively.

Inuyasha looked at her questioningly. "How did you know?"

"Because your arrival to the palace has been the talk of the people for weeks, humans and youkai alike are talking about it."

Suddenly her eyes widened in realization of something dreadful, " Oh my kami-sama, Sesshoumaru despises hanyous! You need to go! Where are you headed?"

"Towards the sea, I'm hoping to reach the Lands across it, why do you ask?"

Kagome frowned, she knew that wouldn't work Inuyasha was already gone almost and entire day, by now the Daiyoukai surely would have gotten wind of Inuyasha's escape. Which meant that he also would already have his people out looking for him by docks near western edge. Inuyasha would be trapped and made to mate Lord Sesshoumaru. She told the hanyou what she thought.

The golden eyed boy in turn stared at her hopelessly once he realized she was right. And she couldn't help but truly feel for his dilemma, then she had an epiphany.

"You can come live with us back at my village, I'm sure Lady Kykyo and Kaede won't mind once they hear your story."

Inuyasha looked at her as if she just turned crazy. " Are you nuts? You're village is at the base of the mountain where his Palace is at and you expect me to go there. Why not just wrap me me up and put me at his door step instead."

Yet Kagome would not be deterred, " Just think, he wont look for you in my village because it's so close to his palace and if we dye your hair and cover your ears you'll look just like a human. And we can mask your scent with herbs until you start smelling human too. You can hide there until search dies down by the docks then take a boat out of Japan without any hassle."

The hanyou thought about she was right, and it could work. Plus it'd be easier to have someone helping him in case something out of his control were to happen. Not to mention he had been gone not even a full day and already he was feeling the sting of loneliness, inu-youkai were pack youkai for a reason, maybe that was why he had asked the girl to stay.

"Alright, I'll go with you."

"Great! We'll set out tomorrow," Kagome said between a mouthful of rabbit, " Then we better get some sleep, because the river where I left my skiff is a long way down from here."

O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O

Darkness had long since covered the sky and Inuyasha wondered about Takeshi and everyone else at the castle. Had Takeshi figured out he was out yet? Surely. But had Sesshoumaru come for him? Somehow he highly doubted that Sesshoumaru would make due on his threat. After all what was an insignificant half breed to a mighty and purebred Youkai such as the Lord of the West. After all, this would be a perfect opportunity to cancel the mating. At least that was what he hoped would happened. And his older brother had made it clear what he thought of the younger hanyou. Regardless with all the thoughts running through his head he knew wasn't going to get any sleep soon. He turned from his favored spot against the back cave wall and stood.

Walking quietly to the entrance he peered outside, the rain had long stopped and the sky seemed clear, the moon and the stars peaking out through the tree leaves. There was a clear small pond not far from the cave, the mountain ice fed cool refreshing water into it. A perfect place for a nice bath cooling bath before bed, to take away the mugginess the rain left behind and hopefully it would also clear his mind enough for sleep as well. He turned back to the cave, and glanced at the girl, Kagome, she was sleeping close to the dwindling embers of the fire but he had lent her his fire rat robe to curl up under and was sure that she wouldn't be waking up any time soon.

Comforted with that thought Inuyasha turned back towards the entrance and went on his way. Just as he remembered, the pond was a short distance away and its water looked all too inviting. Quickly divesting himself of his clothing the hanyou waded into the waters. The cold water did wonders to his heated body and as he stared into its depths, he let himself think.

It was not that he was against the thought of having a mate, it was the thought of having to be the weaker partner in the relationship. By default, his body was always smaller than other male youkai, his limbs thinner and less muscled, his hands and feet daintier. He was a breeder after all and a hanyou one at that.

Yet, he always felt that he could be something other than a ornate wife for some other youkai. He worked hard to be where he was, and he made it so anyone youkai or not would think twice before crossing him. Years of rigorous training with Yashiro and his own secret outings into the woods defeating wild youkai, had him as good as any alpha out there.

Still my body will always be that of a breeder. Inuyasha acknowledged as he washed the area that marked him a breeder. His cock was there soft, without any stimulus, and something that he was proud of, but right below that where his scrotum would be, had he been born a male, was a small opening much like a females, but much, much smaller.

He would never be able to sire a pup but he sure as hell would be able to bear one. And because of it, Sesshoumaru, the Great Daiyoukai of the West, wanted him as his unwilling mate. Inuyasha couldn't help but remember the first and last time he met the great Lord.

It had been just after his mothers death, although he had not yet been aware of it, and only two years after his fathers demise.

O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O

Inuyasha watched with awed eyes as he was driven into the Western Palace by a horse drawn carriage. At the tender age of only four demon years he had been completely taken by such splendor.

The Palace was ginormous the tallest tower seem to reach the clouds, or so it looked in the eyes of the little pup. The village they passed through as they headed closer to late Inutaishou's abode was largely populated by both humans and demons going about their business. And the scents, so many strange and new aromas to tingle his sensitive nose.

He wasn't allowed to open the veil that separated him from viewing the outside world completely from the carriage window, something about his arrival disrupting the peace and his safety in danger, still he peeked from the a small lifted edge at the corner of the glass-less window.

As they made their way closer to the Palace Inuyasha felt his tummy do little flip-flops and placed a small clawed hand on the offending body part but he couldn't control the butterflies, this was The Great Lord Sesshoumaru after all, his big brother. It would be his first time meeting him and Inuyasha hoped to make a good impression, but above all he hoped that his big brother would like him.

He had heard storied from his Mama about his older brother. How beautiful he is, and strong and well mannered. And how it was a well known fact that after their father's death Sesshoumaru ranked as one of the strongest if not thee strongest of the four high lords. Even the Emperor had to admit to that.

Of course, it had not occurred to him at the time that his mother had only been repeating what she had been told by her husband who held his eldest son in high regard.

The tall double gates leading to the inner walls of the Palace were huge and seemed to be made of some very thick wood. Inuyasha had never seen anything like it after all the doors to his own small castle were small and practical.

Once inside the walls in only took a few more minutes for the carriage to reach its destination. The doors of the actual Palace structure, were made of a wood so light colored it seemed white like a pearl but Inuyasha could not view much else as he was forced to sit still in the carriage till someone gave the OK for him to come out.

He heard as the double doors swing open his puppy ears picking the minute sounds from around him. The light steps of someone approaching the carriage and the squeak of the wood as the driver in charge of bringing him had stepped down from his post at the front, where he led the giant dog like demons that pulled the carriage. The lighter footsteps stopped next to the entrance to the carriage.

A smooth male voice spoke, " Did you bring him then?"

"I s're did there s'r, all bundl' up nice and cozy in da cart'," responded the heavily accented voice of the driver. Suddenly the drapes were pulled back to reveal bright sunlight and a black haired Inu Youkai, with pale skin who looked at him with wide eyes. Surprise evident in his gaze.

"You're Inuyasha? I was told you were young but this is..." He stopped mid-sentence and frowned in confusion, he had been reaching a hand out for the young Inu pup to take but the small pup had receded back towards the other side of enclosure.

Finally realizing the problem the Inu Youkai's gaze soften and he smiled warmly, "I'm sorry little one I have not yet introduced myself, My name is Takeshi I'll be you're caretaker during your stay here. If you could just take my hand we can get right on our plans for the day including showing you to your rooms, and maybe even visit some of the other places in the palace."

Inuyasha eyed the man suspiciously before leaning closer and just like an actual dog he pressed his nose to Takeshi's hand taking in the Inu's different scents many of them were new and he couldn't recognize them but not anywhere among them did he smell a lie and so he lean back and met his eyes with Takeshi before giving the man a wide toothy grin and grasping his hand. Then they proceeded to tour the palace.

First, his room, which was lavishly put together and almost made Inuyasha's jaw snap with how wide his small mouth fell open in awe. The bed by itself was twice the size of his own back home. But they didn't linger there long.

Afterward, Takeshi had shown him the kitchens and main hall where dances and festivals were held , Takeshi had shown him how to dance a little while they were there.

Yet his most favorite part of the tour were the gardens.

Four of them in total and themed for the different lands of Japan. One, with a huge center pond filled with colorful fish from the western sea, another filled with rare flowers from the northern lands, the third had trees shaped in twisting ways to make a place to sit and a arching canopy of brightly colored leafs, and finally the last one had fountains made of hard crystal found in the southern lands.

The young pup was having so much fun that it wasn't until dinner time that he remembered why he was in the palace in the first place, to meet Sesshoumaru. Yet, nothing could take the grin off his face while Takeshi helped him dress for his meeting with the Lord.

Until right before entering the court hall, Takeshi turned around and smiled at Inuyasha with eyes filled with sadness. Then he got down on his knees to be eye level with the hanyou and pressed a small kiss to his fore head before taking the pup's smaller hands in his and leading him forward to where the others sat.

The room was completely filled with full blood Youkai. Out of pure instinct, Inuyasha bristled when he realized that many of them were giving him disgusted looks, but he stood his ground. This room along with the other rooms like the dinning hall and the main hall had a large seat on a raised dais near the far wall where the great Lord was meant to sit and be able to view everything that was happening on the lower floor. At the moment, the High Lord sat in his place surrounded by Youkai who sat on either side of him in a half circle.

His Mama was right, his older brother, was a sight to behold, he looked so beautiful and poised sitting on his throne with his advisers surrounding him like servants to a god. And his eyes could pierce through anyone, and right now they were staring at the little pup with such intensity that Inuyasha couldn't help but blush as he was led to stand in front of his Lord.

The rest of the lords and ladies in attendance all quieted down there murmurs as the Daiyoukai raised his hand for silence and complete attention.

"So," Sesshoumaru started with an icy cold tone in his voice, " you are the half breed."

Inuyasha nodded meekly, not expecting the cold tone, maybe he was displeasing to his older brother. It couldn't be that he had messed up already.

Sesshoumaru sneered at the boy, then turned to his advisers and the lords and ladies of the other lands. "This," he gesture at Inuyasha, " is this Sesshoumaru's younger half brother, the one all of you had yet to have been privy of seeing. The stain on this Sesshoumaru's blood line, and the half breed filth who is second heir to my father's lands."

Inuyasha's face was red with embarrassment and tears prickled his eyes, even at the age of four he had been aware of the dislike of hanyous in the human and youkai worlds but not once did he ever imagined that his own brother would hate him so for something he had no control of. He bit his lips to hold back the sob that threaten to rise from his throat.

"This is also the product of my father's fleeting attractions towards a human whore with a pretty face," Sesshoumaru continued watching with a smirk, the liquid that trickled down the hanyou's face.

"Y-you're wrong." Inuyasha murmured. His face turned down bangs hiding his eyes.

"I'm what? Speak up little brother," Sesshoumaru said coolly although he had youkai hearing and had heard the boy perfectly.

"YOU'RE WRONG!" Screamed Inuyasha and with as much volume as his small body could hold he continued, "My Mama was not a dirty person. She was a princess. And my Papa and Mama loved each other and me very much. You're just a mean person for saying so!"

The Daiyoukai laughed, but it wasn't filled with mirth and it brought a chill down everyone's spine. Especially the young inu-hanyou, who couldn't help but press himself tightly to Takeshi's side.

"Come here boy." The young Lord gesture directly in front of him his eyes never leaving the hanyou's.

Inuyasha on the other hand froze, he looked up imploringly at Takeshi, the only person in this hell hole who seemed to truly like him. The ravenette in the hopes of quelling at least some of his Lord's anger towards the boy quickly nodded and gave the hanyou a gentle push towards the dais.

The pup moved slowly up the steps until he stood right in front of his older brother.

Smirking at the quivering he saw on the younger boy's body, Sesshoumaru reached for the boy wrapping one arm around the small body in a mock hug and lifting him up to sit on his lap efficiently trapping the pup against him. Inuyasha was left staring into the disgust filled eyes of his brother's court. He turned his head in an effort to curb their stares, but Sesshoumaru grasped his chin and turned it back towards the crowd.

"Now, many of you might be wondering why this Sesshoumaru does not just kill the hanyou here and now."

Inuyasha's trembling renew with fervor with the new topic, of conversation, he was going to die by his brother's hand.

"Why does not this Sesshoumaru just permanently erase the stain right at this moment? Why? Well, this Sesshoumaru's brother despite his blood, does in fact have some worth."

This started a cacophony of whispers through out the crowd and soft cries of disbelief, after all, what worth could a half breed have.

Again Sesshoumaru cut the sound with a wave of his hand, he then used the hand not holding the boy to him and swiftly reached for the pup's hakama and pulled them off. Inuyasha didn't even have time to react before his thighs were grasped by the Daiyoukai's large hands and spread apart for everyone to see.

The murmurs now turned to approving whispers and lewd remarks.

"Here is the reason for his worth. A pure breeder in a hanyou's body. A rarity of great value on someone with otherwise no worth." Sesshoumaru maintain the same cool and distant tone as he finally relented to Inuyasha's struggle to cover himself.

"Cease you struggles little brother," The Daiyoukai mocked, "At least now you know there is some use to your weakness."

Inuyasha's body from head to toe was filled with shame and humiliation.

He knew his body well, and had already been told its purpose. Yet his Mama had always made it seem like it was a blessing and she had always told him that just because he was born to bear children did not mean he had to bend to anyone's will, and that he could be anything he wishes regardless of circumstances. And he believed her. Even now with every youkai in the room privy to his most intimate parts he still believed her and right then he wished for nothing more than to be stronger than his brother so he could beat the smirk right off his face.

"Y-You are the m-meanest, nastiest person to ever walk this land Sesshoumaru. Mama was wrong you may be pretty but you are no Lord and no brother to me. I will get stronger than you and I will beat you." Inuyasha mumbled with such certainty in his voice that even Sesshoumaru was taken aback by the emotion he could hear in every word.

Still his face remained blank of emotions except for the steely look in his eyes there was no warning. He swiftly turned Inuyasha in his lap to face him and leaned into whisper in his ear, "Then you have a long way to go little brother."

Inuyasha just stared down, open mouth, at the pale arm whose hand was now fist deep in his belly.

He tried to scream but all that escaped was a slight 'oh' of surprise, before his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he blacked out.

Sesshoumaru then proceeded to grab the back of the young pup's yukata and fling the boy towards Takeshi who caught the boy with trembling hands and face ashen with horror.

"Send for the healer," Sesshoumaru started to say but was cut off by an adult youkai who stepped forward out of crowd.

"I'm here my lord." The white haired youkai then briskly took the pup out Takeshi's arms and ran off to treat the boy in the healing rooms. Takeshi on the other hand could do nothing but stare at his bloody hands even as his Lord dismissed the court and the advisers.

All too quickly there were only Sesshoumaru and Takeshi in the room.

"He'll live. The boy unfortunately has my father's blood in him so he'll live." The Daiyoukai said dismissively, but also in hopes of wiping that look off his trusted servant's face. "Regardless, this Sesshoumaru orders that the boy be gone back to his own castle by tomorrow evening at the latest."

Sesshoumaru then stood to leave. But a soft spoken voice stopped him, it was Takeshi's.

"My Lord, I wish...I wish to go with the boy as his permanent care taker."

The cold look in Sesshoumaru's eyes soften a bit, for he knew exactly where this was coming from and also because he understood how much Takeshi need this right now. He nodded.

"You may leave with the hanyou then."

"Thank you. My Lord I can not express how much that means this means to me. By your leave my Lord, I'll now go to ready my things."

Sesshoumaru again nodded his consent and Takeshi nearly tripped over himself in joy as he left the court room to check on his new charge.

Again the Daiyoukai rose to leave and again he was stopped by another voice, although this one was the deeper tone of his favorite red haired general.

"My Lord, If I may..."

Sesshoumaru turn to Yashiro and smirked, "You wished to go after a certain raven haired inu-youkai."

The red-haired cat youkai nodded, with a grin.

"Very well, you may."

The white haired inu-youkai watched as his general also left in a better mood. And couldn't help the mental groan, the filthy hanyou had only been there a day and already he was disrupting his court. But at least the future looked like it could get interesting.

O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O_O

The light was slowly disappearing over the horizon, as this Sesshoumaru studied the boundaries of my land from the window of my study. The time frame I gave for the boy to show up will soon be long over though I had expected him here sooner. We're are not yet mated and that boy is already trying on my nerves. This Sesshoumaru can not wait until the hanyou is beneath him where he belongs and where he will learn of his betters.

Yet, there are better things to attend to I realize, as turn to Kazuo, my fifth seat adviser, who sits patiently in front of my desk. I walk towards him and give the bird youkai a smile. He returns it but, I am aware that he is not comfortable around me just yet.

A few soft words would do it.

"This Sesshoumaru would admire your actions in our previous meeting," I say giving him a soft smile to try to ease him, "the way you held yourself, for some one so young that is quite an accomplishment."

"Thank you my Lord, but I must admit that it's all do to a great s-sensei." Kazuo answered his voice wavering a bit on the last part.

He smells of submission in its entirety, a born omega probably. It's utterly enticing, and I mean to have someone in my bed tonight, I would've searched for a lady or lesser lord to accompany me but if my fifth seat will have me...

"Ah, Yes Himura my first seat was your mentor not so long ago."

I watched with bemusement as with just the mention of Himura's name the boy's shoulders loses some tension. I can't help but get the feeling that this is a lost cause. Regardless it is still worth the try.

Taking advantage of the boy's ease, I reach over to gently stroke one of the feather's sticking from the bottom of the back of the boy's head and the top of the boy's neck. It was an instant reaction, the blonde lurched backwards into my hand, whilst his back arched forward, hands gripping onto the arm rests of the chair, a soft whine of appreciation and want escapes his open lips. I cant help but smirk as I lean forward into his ear and whisper my intent.

"This Sesshoumaru wishes to be much more intimately acquainted with you, Kazuo." I continue to stroke the soft feathers as I wait for his response he is breathless and nearly moans out his reply.

"AH! M-my lord...I..can...not."

I groan mentally in response to the inevitable, and leave off mid-stroke of his feathers leaving my hand to lie instead on the back of his chair.

"This Sesshoumaru takes it that the reason for your refusal is the one standing on the other side of my door."

Kazuo looks at me in confusion but I simply gesture at the door where Himura stands, walking in after hearing what I told Kazuo. The bird youkai quickly whirls to gaze at Himura then leaps up and runs right into my first seat's arms, who grins at me nonchalantly. I have to force myself not to roll my eyes at him.

"You could have told me he was yours Himura, this Sesshoumaru would not have touched him."

Again my first seat gives me that infuriating grin, and says glancing down at Kazuo, "I've not had him yet my Lord, but I do intend to." To which my fifth seat beams lovingly back at his sensei.

Their intimacy is starting to make this Sesshoumaru ill.

Ah and there comes the distraction. A falcon, messenger bird from Takeshi, I smirk knowing right away what the letter will contain. I take the letter from the falcon and bide it wait for my response. I only glance at the letter once opened, for it was exactly as I knew would happen. I smirk and hand the letter to my advisers who stand warily watching for my response but I simply wave them away.

This Sesshoumaru's response back to my brother's care taker was simple, 'This Sesshoumaru will be there tomorrow morning to pick up a scent from there this one is within my own rights to bring your charge here through any means necessary. And be aware that his punishment is also my right.'
