Dust.
Clogging up the air, making it difficult to see, to breath.

Blood.
Staining ground and weapons, clothes and skin.

Silence.
Silence weighing down on Strength's ears, intermitted only by her heavy breathing as she stares listlessly into the empty sky above.

She knew.
She knew no one ever returned alive from fighting this enemy.
She knew this battle would be the end for her.
She knew she would lose.

Still she tried.
She brought her fate upon herself.

"You lost", Black Rock Shooter states from above, emotionless as ever.

Strength takes what little of herself is left to turn her head and look at the other girl.
The thin, ghostly white body is covered in blood, how much of it belongs to Black Rock Shooter, how much to herself, she can't tell.
But all in all, the other looks like their fight was hardly worth her effort.

Stunning blue eyes bore into her own for a moment before she turns and walks away.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"

Black Rock Shooter stops and looks back at her.
A thin brow raises and vanishes behind black hair, the dying flame flickering around her eye slowly coming back to life.

"KILL ME ALREADY, I DON'T NEED YOUR PITY!"

The flame flares up now, covering almost the whole side of her face.

"Right", she murmurs. "I don't, either."
Black Rock Shooter raises her cannon and aims.

Silence. And nothing's left between the both of them.
