Just finished parking the DeLorean in the garage. I didn't write this myself, I just brought an interesting tidbit from the future back with me I thought might interest people.

E!Online exclusive interview with Jim Parsons after the series finale at the end of season 7.

Interviewer- So, at what point did you know this was going to happen? I think the viewers had given up on it. I know I was pretty shocked.

Parsons- This kiss... The kiss scene was something that Lorre and Mayim and I started talking about way before we started shooting season 6 in preproduction, and the notion was that we would... we would kind of see his entire sexual development that would usually take place from preadolescence up until adulthood through the course... compressed into this one kiss basically. In the script... I'm actually gonna open up the script hereā€¦ So in the script the way this was written was...

He kisses her.

She kisses him back.

The pure, whole-hearted sensuality with which they attack each other and the deluge of almost childlike need let loose in this one simple act quickly reaches a point where as a viewer we no longer feel comfortable intruding with our gaze.

Fifteen seconds after this point, we fade out.

Of course, it sounds great on paper, but it took quite a bit of practice before Mayim and I could figure out a way to make it work.
