Alright guys. This is it. Life just got way more hectic due to personal reasons that I'm not willing to reveal, and after much deliberation, I have decided to put this story up for adoption. This was not an easy decision to make; this story has held a special place in my heart as I was writing it and I am absolutely astounded and proud at how much positive reception it has received. 650 reviews! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd hit such a milestone. So before I discuss the details of the story's adoption, I'd like to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to all of my readers, without whom this story's success would not have been possible. THANKS EVERYONE!
And now to the main point of this final (final!) authors note for The Reaper. Due to my attachment to this story, I'm reluctant to just hand over the reins to any random author. Therefore, if any of you would be interested in continuing what I've started, I invite you to write a chapter of your own, preferable the chapter that would come after the last one, and email it to me so I can pick a worthy successor to this story. The length should be around the average chapter length of 2-4 thousand words. I had no specific direction that I was taking the story in, so please feel free to throw your own ideas into this little application chapter. The plot direction that you incorporate into the chapter will be taken into account as I decide on who to bequeath the story upon, as well as the quality of writing.
I will accept submissions until I see fit, but that probably won't be until after the New Year, so if you're interested but don't currently have the time to write, this gives you plenty of time to throw something together.
Please sent submissions as word processing document attachments to fokkergaming at gmail . com
I look forward to seeing what my readers come up with!
Thank you for sticking with me for so long, and I'm sorry that my time with this story had to end this way, but remember: you could be the one to continue the legacy of The Reaper.
