{Detours}

It's the first day in a week that the Sangela City weather has cleared up.

Sitting on a vinyl mat covered with a thick blanket, she took the opportunity to take advantage of the fine weather and finally get back to sketching. It's been months since she's had the chance to really forget about her studies, forget about her work and just draw.

She's completely absorbed by shading in the side of the rock-face of the cliff she'd been working on, so much so that when she finally notices a shadow growing over her sketch that she completely tucks herself away. Her sketchbook was clutched tightly to her chest and she angrily jerks her head to the side, "Do you mind?" she scowls darkly.

"Not at all," a happily familiar voice answers.

She freezes, feeling the heat rising to her cheeks, trying to ignore the butterflies that just started fluttering in her stomach.

He leans over a bit more and grins, "You haven't been down here in a while… I was worried you might've moved or something."

"You were in town?" she asks and scootches over automatically when Train walks around to sit next to her.

When he takes a seat, he stretches out in an almost cat-like manner and lies down on the still-soaked grassland, "For the past few days…not long," he answers and sighs contently and looks at her, "If you didn't live here, I wouldn't pass by so often."

"Huh?"

"You're the only reason why I take detours around to this route… " he admits and smiles cattishly.

When she freezes and blinks, she actually forgot just how honest Train really is. "Thanks," she laughs and winks at him, "Well… I'm guessing you're hungry, right?"

His eyes flit from her and back to the ocean view, "… Hmmm…. " he looks back at her and finally smiles softly, "I think lunch can wait… we still have lots of catching up to do."
