Chapter three

"Thank you very much." Raven said politely.

Raven had just picked up the wine and was heading home, but then, there was a piercing scream.

Everyone in the around the area covered their ears, Raven stayed put like there was nothing wrong.

Raven turned and saw a girl being chased.

"Somebody help me!" She said.

She ran out of breath and stopped in front of Raven.

"Please help me." She said.

Before Raven could reply, she collapsed.

The source of the piercing scream came closer.

Raven picked up the girl and placed her against the wall, also, he placed the wine next to her.

When Raven looked up, the beast was in front of him.

"GIVE ME THE GIRL!" It snarled.

In response Raven took out a dagger.

"MOVE, MORTAL!" It snarled louder.

Raven didn't move and the beast lunged itself at Raven.

Raven's eyes glowed and spun the dagger around until the blade was at the bottom.

The beast lunged again and Raven sliced it through the middle, the beast fell and separated in two.

"Raven!" A voice yelled.

"Master Edgar, Miss Lydia." Raven said.

"Raven, are you alright?" Lydia asked.

Raven nodded and said," I'm fine Lydia-san."

"I'm so relieved." Lydia sighed.

Edgar spotted the girl and asked," Raven, who is that?"

"I don't know. The beast wanted to kill her." Raven replied.

The girl opened her eyes and asked," Where am I?"

"You're safe." Lydia said.

"What's your name?" Edgar asked.

"Ayana. Ayana Eskimo." She answered.

"Pretty name." Edgar asked.
