Chapter One: Ronnie

Ronnie watched as her boyfriend, Will Blakelee, got down on one knee. "Ronnie Miller? Will you marry me?" he asked. Ronnie smiled.

"Yes." She said. Will beamed as he reached into the pocket of his aquarium "Staff" polo shirt for the engagement ring he spent five months looking for. It was perfect in every aspect. As Will slid the ring onto Ronnie's left ring finger, her jaw dropped.

"What?" he asked, standing up and wrapping his arms around her waist.

"It's enormous!" she replied. He looked down at the 2 karat diamond ring from Cartier's

"You don't like it?" he asked. She looked up at him.

"I love it. But you didn't spend too much money on it, right?" Will didn't answer. "Will!"

"If you want, I'll promise that your wedding ring won't have as huge of a diamond." He said, giving Ronnie a heartbreakingly adorable grin. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"If you're happy, then I'm happy." She said. Then Will kissed her. Ronnie buried her toes in the North Carolina sand in attempt to prolong the kiss. After a while, they went home to their beach house.
