This is in third person about Kratos :) i did this because i think its sad how Lloyd doesnt know or remember his own dad :( and i also think its sad when Kratos feels bad about killing Anna and he dearly misses her. I might also do one for Yuan about Martel... Maybe... Let me know if its a good idea :D
Disclaimer: I do not own Tales Of Symphonia
Where is she when I need her? He thinks. He walks side by side with his companions, little did they know that he would betray them all. He stops and looks up towards the fluffy white clouds. He stares aimlessly at the sky, where he wants to be.
The Chosen One collapses and everyone but him runs to her. "Colette? Are you alright?" The little magic user asks. Colette smiles up at them. "Yes! Yes I'm fine! I'm sorry everyone," she apologises. Out of the corner of his eye, he sees the twin swordsman roll his eyes. "You don't need to apologise!"
The Chosen smiles again. "I'm sorry." The boy in red face palms and helps her up. "I think it's best if we rest here for the night," the half-elf medic says. Everyone agrees and does their own things.
When it became night, the stars shine like little beacons of hope for the broken hearted man. "Everyone get some rest, I'll be the night watch for tonight," the swordsman in red offers. He shakes his head. "No. I will. Lloyd. Get your rest." Lloyd angrily stares at the man. "Why? Why do you get to be the night watch?" The man breathes in heavily. "If you want to protect the Chosen, you will need to keep up your strength. Correct?" Lloyd angrily lays down and looks up at the sky. The man turns around and smiles a bit at the boy's stubbornness.
Everyone is now asleep apart from the one man. He sits next to Noishe and looks over Lloyd. "Anna. We have an amazing son. He's strong, like you and he has the power to commit sins but he also fixes them. He's just like you. He's nothing like me," he whispers quietly to himself. Noishe whines by his side and nuzzles the pained man. He strokes the animal's green-white fur. "Come Noishe." The man stands up and walks away from the camp but not too far away.
"A hundred days have made me older,
Since the last time that I saw your pretty face.
A thousand lies have made me colder,
And I don't think I can look at this the same.
But all the miles that separate,
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face.
I'm here without you baby,
But you're still on my lonely mind.
I think about you baby,
And I dream about you all the time.
I'm here without you baby,
But you're still with me in my dreams.
Cos tonight girl,
It's only you and me." He sings to the heavens.
He finishes his lament and breathes out shakily. His heart could never be repaired unless she comes back. And he doubts that will ever happen. "I haven't sang... Since Lloyd was a little toddler. Just learning to walk." Kratos looks back at the camp. "Don't die Lloyd. Don't die before your old man." He walks back to the camp and acts like nothing happened and continues to look over his son. "We used to look at the stars every night Lloyd. But you don't remember that, do you?"
