Title: Kiss Me
Monroe had it all planned out. Ask Rosalee out on a picnic so they can spend some quality together and if he was really lucky, maybe get a kiss out of it. And for the most part the plan worked. After he helped her clean up the shop thanks to the psycho cat, they went out to the woods and found a nice spot to have their little picnic. It was a beautiful day out. The sun was shinning and everything was perfect...except for the part where they were attacked by crazed Stangebar.
Yeah, that pretty much killed the mood.
When they got back to the shop, Rosalee confessed that she liked the way he looked at her. He was a little embarrassed at being caught but he couldn't help it. There was something about her that he liked a lot. That's when they shared their first kiss and as first kisses go it was pretty awesome. Things started to really heat up as they made out for a bit. Monroe had never seen that side of Rosalee before, not that he was complaining or anything. Unfortunately, that's when he realized that Rosalee was infected with Fluvus Pestilentia, the Yellow Plague. He remembered hearing stories about this thing killing hundreds of Wesen back in the old days.
With the help of Nick and Hank, he managed to save Rosalee before the disease did any real damage. Thank god! If anything happened to her...
While Nick and Hank were in the other room he went to check on Rosalee. She was awake and looking like her normal self.
"You saved me", she said sweetly.
"Well..." Monroe feeling a bit bashful. "I had some help from Nick, and surprisingly Hank. Nick told him everything."
"Whoa," she said.
"Yeah," he added.
Rosalee suddenly got quite and unable to meet his eyes.
"Did we... did we kiss before," she asked unsure.
"Um... yeah. A lot," he confessed.
"I thought it was a dream."
Monroe sat down next to Rosalee and took her hand. She needed to know. She needed to see just how much she means to him. Forgetting their deal on taking things slow he leans forward and kisses her. Rosalee leans into the kiss, enjoying the taste of his lips. They say actions speak louder than words. He just hope his actions were loud enough to let her know that he wanted to be more than friends.
As they pulled away they were both grinning like idiots. If Monroe's smile got any bigger he was afraid his face would break in half.
"Wow," she said softly.
"Yeah," he agreed.
"So, does this mean I'm your girlfriend now," Rosalee asked.
"Only if you're okay with that," Monroe said.
As much as he wanted this he didn't force her into anything.
"I'm more than okay with that," she assured him. She wrapped her arms around his neck. "So as your girlfriend I would like another kiss from my Blutbad boyfriend."
"Yes ma'am," he said, kissing her again.
