Sam lay down on Danny's bed next to him. The two held hands, shoulders touching.
Sam sighed, staring at the ceiling. "I'm so bored," she complained.
Danny grinned in such a way that Sam was sorry that she'd bothered to speak.
"You should not have said that."
Next thing Sam knew, she was flipping in the air, outside of the house, in the starry night sky, shrieking and laughing at the same time.
"Danny, take me back inside! Bored doesn't mean I want to get killed!"
Danny laughed, every few seconds swooping down, gripping Sam by the wrists, and flipping her up again. "You're not gonna get killed, as long as I'm here!"
And then he turned invisible. Sam shriek-laughed again. "Danny Fenton, show yourself and take me inside!" she demanded with fake-anger.
Sam felt herself get caught by the waist with two cold, strong hands, and then cold lips pressed against hers. Danny appeared and wrapped his arms around Sam's torso in order to keep her afloat and keep her lips against his.
Sam pulled back, and the two began to laugh together, Danny pulling her to him in a hug and Sam resting her head on his chest.
He inhaled her sweet scent and kissed the top of her head. "Still bored?"
Sam softly whapped the back of her hand against his chest. "Next time, get a movie."
Danny laughed. Sam could feel the vibration in his chest. "But this was so much better! And it didn't cost a thing."
"You'll be the death of me one day, I swear."
"No, I won't," Danny replied immediately. "And you have to admit that you liked it."
"I did not! I was fearing for my life every five seconds!"
"And that is exactly why you loved it."
Sam looked up and stuck her tongue out at her boyfriend. "Fine. I loved it."
Then, suddenly, Sam flew away from Danny's arms. Someone or something had taken her.
Danny was about to shoot behind her with ecto-plasmic rays, but then a thirteen-year-old girl's laugh came, and Danielle appeared.
Sam laughed and shouted, "Danny, help! I'm being kidnapped by an unbearably adorable ghost!"
Dani and Danny played along. "You shall never see your love again, Sam Manson!" Dani declared with a giggle.
Danny chuckled and flew at his little sister and girlfriend, stealing Sam back within moments.
He gripped her tightly to him. "Hey. No touchie. She's mine," he warned with a raspberry at Dani.
Dani raspberried back. "Fine. See you guys later. I'm going to Jason's. Don't do anything stupid!"
Danny smiled as he called after her, "I'll make sure that Sam stays out of trouble!"
Dani stopped and turned around. "I was talking to you, doofus-head!"
Sam laughed while Danny stuck his tongue out at the retreating Halfa and flew back into his room.
"That wasn't boring," Sam remarked.
Danny kissed her cheek. "Ya think?"
"Hey, wait a second." Sam turned to Danny. "What was with the whole 'no touchie' thing?"
Danny smiled and pulled her to him, running a hand over her hair possessively while trying to hold in a laugh. "You are mine, Goth girl. No one shall touch you. No touchie is allowed."
Sam laughed and shook her head. "Tell me why, again, I'm your girlfriend?"
"Because I'm irresistible," Danny joked.
Sam didn't reply. Irresistible, yes. She'd give him that.
"And you know what?" she said after a while of silence.
"What?" Danny asked, sky-blue eyes meeting amethyst-violet.
Sam smiled. "That is why you are mine. No touchie is allowed."
