"Hey, Madame Mayor, looking good!" Ruby called from down the aisle. The dark-haired woman turned, raising an eyebrow.
"Ruby. How nice to see you."
"It's nice to see you too. Strange, I admit, I… kind of assumed that you'd have some sort of maid or something to buy your groceries…"
Regina smiled. "No, it's all me. I even do the cooking, would you believe!"
"I'd like to bet that everything you cook is absolutely…" She stepped closer to the older woman, adding a dash of sexiness to her tone of voice. "Delicious."
The Mayor raised her eyebrow again, smirking. "Everything?"
Ruby nodded, winking at Regina.
Regina thought for a moment before placing a hand on Ruby's arm. "How would you like a taste of my apple turnover?"
Ruby raised an eyebrow. "I'd love to."
"Great. Henry's at a sleepover with Nicolas this evening, so… Maybe you could come over at seven and even stay for breakfast?"
Ruby's eyebrows shot up. "I'd love that."
Regina smiled and turned back to her shopping cart. "Perfect. Don't be a minute late."
