A/N: Just a little songfic because I'm in the mood ;P The song is Red by Taylor Swift, which I suggest you listen to whilst reading this :)
Elektra was blue. To her it was more than just a colour - it was who she was, her life, her sorrow, her regret. She was wrong, it was wrong. All wrong. Loving him. She should've had known. Love didn't exist, she'd known that from the day she was put into care. Trust or friendship didn't either. She was always left behind - a shadow in the darkness: lost. Why she'd fell for him was still a mystery, yet it wasn't one worth pondering. The past was the past.
Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street. Faster than the wind. Passionate as sin, ended so suddenly.
Love was beautiful, amazing. Whilst you were still stuck in euphoria, when you believed it would last, but everything has to end. It was too fast. Only a week. Kiss to kiss. Only one of those kisses were hers.
Loving him is like trying to change your mind once you're already flying through the free fall. Like the colours in autumn, so bright, just before they lose it all.
She'd loved him in September. One week. The last. October came, bright sparks, leaves of love: lost. Swept away by the wind, like everything else in her life. Even though she saw her mistake, she couldn't take it back. She'd already jumped from the cliff.
Losing him was blue like I'd never known. Missing him was dark grey all alone. Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met. But loving him was red.
Red was perfection, passion, love, beauty. Blue was the opposite of red. Even though she knew she had to, she couldn't bring herself to forget him, even know he was gone. She couldn't miss him: she never had him. Anyway tears, depression and the past wasn't her style. She was blue. But, losing him was blue. She'd lost him: forever. Elektra was always blue and that how she'd always be: without him, always looking for something impossible to find. Love.
Who did she love? The one boy that everyone falls for, yet he never falls for them: Liam O'Donovan. He'd made Elektra blue. She'd lost the red, became the blue.
