A/N: I hope you like this it is not my best work and I will rewrite and edit it after I finish this story I hopefully will have finished the next part in a few days, if I can get time on the computer to write.
They had decided to break for lunch but Harry wasn't really in the mood to eat anything so he just sat there watching everyone.
It was weird watching the people from to different parts of his life interact with each other.
It wasn't that he didn't want all the important people in his life to meet, it was more once then did Harry knew they would be in danger because it was unlikely that people would keep this to themselves and Harry didn't like the thought of losing his dad or Ellie because of someone's stupid mistake.
Harry by now was saw Ron would be finished with his lunch and was able to get him away from everyone so they could talk.
As everyone started to finish eating Mrs. Weasley saw this as the perfect time to have a much needed conversation with the headmaster.
If she could get the headmaster to see that this man - Mr. Grant was a unfit guardian for the young Harry they would all come to thanks her in the years to come. Also if she could become Harry's guardian it would mean he would get closer to Ginny and all her dreams would have come true.
Dumbledore knew this was coming but he had hoped to be able to put it off until later much later.
Dumbledore had decided the best place for the conversation was in his office. He knew it was hard for most people to understand why he let Harry stay with Dr. Grant and didn't send him back to the Dursley's or better yet find Harry a different guardian but as like all things he life everything is more complicated then it seems.
One: The Dursley's hadn't wanted Harry in the first place.
Two: Harry saw Dr. Grant as his dad and Ellie was the only mother figure he remembered.
Three: It would be cruel to the boy.
And Four: Where ever Harry felt was home and he was loved was the safest place for him.
And now he had to try and explain all this to a woman who wouldn't have any of it.
Harry's conversation with Ron had gone well once Harry got the words to explain what he was thinking and it had been one of the hardest conversation of Harry's life.
Harry knew Ron always looked at the things people had and what he didn't and didn't look any deeper then that.
Like Neville and himself a lot of the kids they went to school with had lost a parent or both in the first war and live with Aunts, Uncles or grandparents and most didn't feel safe, loved or wanted within the homes they were living in.
Were as Ron got to go home to both parents and brothers and sister who he knew loved him and would no matter what.
Harry had that with his dad and Ellie but Harry knew next to nothing about James and Lily Potter and still only had a one sided view of them.
Ron was rich in the only way that matter to a lot of the students within Hogwarts.
Harry was not sure after their talk if Ron really understood what Harry was trying to say or to get him to understand but it was worth a try.
Ron was sure Harry didn't think he understood what he was trying to say and surprisingly Ron understood straight away and it gave him a lot to think about.
Harry sighed sadly and now the conversation he had been trying put off but he couldn't any longer.
"Hey, Ron?" mumbled Harry.
"Could you tell Ginny I wanna talk to her, please." Harry muttered.
Ron nodded he know this was coming. He had always knew that Harry had always seen Ginny as his sister and nothing more.
"Mate, are you gonna.."
Ron nodded again and went back into the great hall. All Ron could hope for now was Harry did this gently and that would be there to help her come to teams with what Harry had said as well as all Ginny friends.
"YOU CAN NOT TRULY BELIEVE THIS!" yelled Molly at the headmaster.
"But I do my dear. Why would I take Harry out of the only home he has never known?" Dumbledore asked.
"BUT THAT MAN! SHOULDN'T BE LOOKING AFTER A BOY LIKE HARRY."
"Molly my dear, Harry is just like every other boy in the world but he also very different," Dumbledore said calmly. "Dr. Grant's relaxed parenting is just want Harry needs."
Dumbledore's calm approach seemed to calm Molly down a little, well a least she wasn't yelling.
"The boy needs rules and that man sets him none!"
"Now I'm sure that's not true. Dr. Grant has help Harry grow into the boy your so protective of don't forget that. Under Dr. Grant's guardianship Harry as grown to be a independent, intelligent, polite and respectable young man." he explained with a smile. "You may not like Dr. Grant's parenting style but Harry loves the man and it would be unfair to take the boy away from him, Harry has gone through enough in his life already and it is our job to make sure he enjoys he childhood and his time at Hogwarts."
Molly nodded that was all true sadly.
"Are you sure he safe there?" Molly asked finally.
"He safer there then anywhere else right now." replied Dumbledore and molly nodded again.
Molly nodded these books had made her ask herself many questions about Harry and she needed to know.
"Can I ask you something about Harry?" Molly asked the headmaster. She needed to know the answer to this.
"Of course, my dear." Dumbledore said.
"Well Harry be staying in the wizarding world once he finished Hogwarts?"
Dumbledore sighed sadly he knew the answer to that without thinking about it.
"I believe that Mr. Potter wants to continue working with Dr. Grant and dinosaur's after he leaves Hogwarts."
Molly sighed and nodded. That wasn't what she wanted to hear but she had a few years to work on making Harry want to stay.
Harry watched Ginny run off with tears running down her face.
Harry had been gentle about the whole things and tried to get her to understand what she wanted from him could never be. He after all saw her as his little sister and nothing more.
Everyone wanted something different from him and he could only be himself and hope for the best but seeing Ginny run of so upset was disheartening.
He hoped in time she would understand and not hate him forever for breaking her heart and dreams.
Head down and with a sad look on his face Harry re-entered the great hall and sat beside his dad and Ellie with Remus and Sirius on his left.
"You all right, cub?" questioned Remus and Harry nodded slowly.
"How did it go?" asked Ron.
"Not so good." muttered Harry with a sad smile.
Ron sighed and looked at the twins and then nodded.
The twins gave Harry a look and Harry had no idea what it meant and he didn't want to know.
Arthur looking at his sons and then Harry and it clicked. Arthur wasn't pushing the match of Ginny and Harry together as a couple like his wife was. If it happened it happened if not well it wasn't the end of the world.
But now his little girl had hopes and dreams that one day Harry would be hers even though Harry hadn't seemed interested in Harry like that.
With a sigh Arthur stood and went to look for his daughter.
"Where is Professor Dumbledore?" Harry asked Hermione.
"Mum wanted to talk with him." Ron told him.
Harry's eyes went wide as he looked at Ron.
Around them Sirius and Remus laughed a little at the look on his face. The both knew what Molly was like but were sure Dumbledore wouldn't let anything happen with her ideas and wishes after all, all they wanted was Harry to be happy.
About ten minutes later Dumbledore returned with Molly.
"Where is your father?" she asked one of the twins people weren't sure which one.
"He went to find Ginny." said Fred.
Their mum didn't needed to know what had happened half an hour ago she would find out once she was home.
"Who would like to read next?" asked Professor Dumbledore they nearing the end of the story.
