Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. I hope you like this little drabble. Thanks for reading!
"Potter, James!" The call of James Potter rang through the walls of the Great Hall as everyone's, well not everyone as some of the students were whining over the fact that the sorting ceremony always takes up such a long time.
"We could be eating right now!" A Gryffindor rolled his eyes and laid his head on the back of his hand, which rested on the table.
But, James Potter couldn't care less, as he was busy worrying about that stupid hat on top of him.
"First child of the Chosen One, aye?"
Calm down, James. You're a Gryffindor. Where dwell the brave at heart. Where dwell the brave at heart? Breathe.
"Or are you, Potter? I see courage, yes of course the spirit of the Potters. Oh, what an amount of loyalty!"
NOT HUFFLEPUFF, even though they're cool because Teddy is in it but I want to be a Gryffindor but there's no one in Gryffindor except the girls who are literally the most boring creatures ever behold. Huff-
"Potter, keep your mouth shut. Keep talking and I'll place you in Ravenclaw but Slytherin can also do the trick! I do see the slyness in you."
I'm not a Slytherin at all. I have cool hair. Put me in Gryffindor, please. Pretty please, pretty, pretty please. I'm brave and noble, and awesome, yes I am.
"Ah, another Slytherin trait, arrogance."
It's called honesty. Just put me in Gryffindor and get over it already, everyone is looking at me like I'm a freak.
The sorting hat chuckled a little. "GRYFFINDOR!"
Ah, Potters. Gits, but always brave and noble.
