A/N: I saw this amusing post on tumblr (the name of the blog is imagineyourotp). Text as it follows:

"Imagine your OTP seated across from each other in a library dozing off and their eyes meeting when they open their eyes; they burst into laughter but the librarian yells at them for being noisy."

This is based on it. I had forgotten about the sleeping part, whoops! Okay, so here we go… Sort of AU, be warned!

Roxie was studying for an upcoming test in her school's library. She was reading her history book intently, reading every word on the page, absorbing the info. She barely even stop to blink, she didn't want to miss anything. She did briefly look up before she flipped the page.

It was a boy, around her age. He was sunburned all over his face, head, arms and the tops of his hands. His legs were as pale as the moon. He had raven-coloured hair with blue streaks; glitter plastered his hair. He was muscular and his hands had calluses on them. Several scrapes lined his legs. His ocean-blue eyes appeared to be searching for a book. He whispered "ow" every time he moved his arms.

He picked up a book about natural home cures. He turned around. Roxie quickly looked back down at her book. He sat across from her, oblivious to her.

She looked up at him, looking at him curiously. He looked up at her and their eyes met.

"Oh… h-hey," he said nervously.

"Hi!" she whispered. "My name's Roxie… what's yours?"

"I'm Marlon and I'm from Humilau City."

"Oh really? I couldn't tell," she replied goofily. "Anyway, I'm from Virbank. I love to play the guitar. What about you?"

"I love to go swimming, SCUBA diving, free diving and spear fishing. Anything that has to do with the ocean, I'll do it."

"That's a lot of things. Sounds like you love the outdoors. I was noticing your legs."

"Oh that? It's from coral collecting. We make a living from the sea. We use as many things as possible from it without taking the beauty away from it. So yeah… we're very sustainable. The coral my dad and I collected go to beautiful home aquariums and most are going just outside the Marine Tube."

"Marine Tube? I think I heard about that."

"Yeah - should be done in about ten years."

"Cool... do tell."

He reached to his backpack and grabbed a spiral notebook. He reached for a pen. Opening the spiral, he started explaining. "Okay. As you know, there are mountains in the way." He started scribbling a giant rock. "What they want do is to blast the surrounding rock with dynamite." He drew a tunnel shape in the rock. "But first, they must make the ten-inch thick acrylic before any water gets inside the tunnel."

"Ten inches thick? That's really thick!" She tried not to yelp from being so surprised. A librarian glowered at her.

"It's thicker than this spiral is wide. It's to make sure that nothing bumps, scratches, etc. the acrylic breaks." Roxie looked into his eyes. Marlon noticed. "W-what are you looking at?"

"Your eyes… they're so beautiful."

"W-well, thank you." He blushed slightly. The two started laughing so hard that the librarian kicked them out.

"Would you like to hang out sometime?" she asked.

"Yeah! I would love to. Do you want to meet here or somewhere else?" he asked, blushing slightly.

"Let's meet here again, but outside. I don't want the librarian to kick us out again."

"Okay. Here's my number." He handed her a slip of paper.

"Thanks, Marlon. I'll see you later." She winked.

"Aloha, Roxie." He waved to her. She watched the sunburnt man walk away.

"Wow…" she sighed.

A/N: They're like twelve in this, lol.
