"Remus?" Lupin looked up from his book-it was a beautiful day so he and Harry were sitting outside Lupin Manor on the hammock, Harry studying History of Magic while Lupin was reading. "Yes Harry?"

Harry set his textbook on the grass. "Do you like anybody?" "Of course," Lupin declared. "Sirius, Albus, you, the list goes on and on."

"No, I mean do you like like anybody?" Harry corrected himself, giving his undivided attention to Lupin.

"Now Harry, you know I am your professor and I cannot go sharing personal information with my students," said Lupin.

"But we live together, professor," Harry pointed out, crawling across the hammock and making himself comfortable in the spot beside Lupin. "I should hardly be called your student."

"I teach you, do I not?" Lupin teased, smiling lovingly down at Harry. "You are the student, therefore I am the professor."

"You like someone, don't you?" Harry grinned up at his teacher, his head resting on Lupin's arm. "I know you do. I can see it in your eyes. You are a bad liar, Remus." He tapped Lupin on the nose with his finger, and the werewolf laughed.

"Not as bad a liar as you," Lupin commented, a huge grin on his face.

"Oi!" Harry exclaimed, and he and Lupin wrestled on the hammock, almost toppling onto the grass. Harry managed to pin Lupin's wrists to the hammock as he lay on top of the man, who was flushed with happiness.

"It's you, Harry," Lupin finally confessed as Harry blinked in shock. "I like you. I love you-" That was all Lupin managed to get out before Harry connected their lips in a fervent kiss, still pressed against his professor. Lupin moaned as their tongues twisted together, and Harry cradled the man's face in his hands.

"I love you too," Harry said when he broke their kiss, and he allowed Lupin to cuddle him and soon he was asleep.
