One at a Time

"What have I done?" I asked myself staring at the bleeding carcass of my worst enemy. "You have done well my son… you have conquered your enemy" my father spoke. "But… I didn't want to kill him…" I said with tears trailing down my face. "Nonsense you're violence is your strongest weapon Rico" my father said. He then went over to my enemy's body, and I heard the rip of a piece of meat. I was disgusted as my father put it into his mouth. "What are you doing?!" I shouted to my father.

"You may have been fed fish your younger years, but it's time you ate a real meal…" he said while coming over to me while dragging the body behind him. Then he pushed me against the wall, and forced me to open my beak. I struggled against the hold, and I felt a bloody piece slipping down my throat. I couldn't describe the taste, but to be honest… it didn't taste horrible…

Present Day

"Hey Rico what are you thinking about?" someone asked me. I looked up suddenly spooked, and noticed everyone staring at me. We were playing the bottle of truth; yeah it's suppose to be truth or dare, but they changed the rules. Everyone wanted to know the truth. "Are you okay Rico?" Private asked. I nodded to stressed to talk about the flashback. "Alright well I spun the bottle to you so… why did you leave home?" Skipper asked. I knew the real reason, but they couldn't know why. "Felt ready move on…" I answered. Everyone continued playing. They'd never really know anything about me…

The real reason I left home was because my mother had 6 kids, all of them but me and my little sis nasty, and she had no money to care for us all. My father she had divorced, and won all my brothers and sisters, but me. I had to go live with my father cause I was the only one who would not dare to speak of my father's crimes in court. I was still allowed to visit my mother so I had helped her by taking one of my sisters off her hands.

Vera was a sweet little girl, but she knew of my father's crimes. She always tried to get me to speak so I could live with them. But I knew my mother did not want more than she could handle; well she still had too much, but she didn't want anymore. It wasn't until two days later my mother showed up, and she started an argument with my father over me. Apparently she wanted me to come live with her as well, but my father would not allow this.

I never felt so compelled before I didn't know what to do. Add to my mother's stress, stay with my father, or run away from it all…. I think you can tell which one I choose…

Next Day

It was a normal morning like any other… on the bright side the truth bottle only landed on me once. I heard a knock at the door, and sighed. The others were on a mission, and Skipper had claimed I was to distracted to go. Which was probably true. I heard the knock louder, and opened the hatch. I peeked out, and was amazed at who I saw…

Hope: Leaving it there… yeah I kind of put a twist onto that one episode I can't remember the name to; the qutoe where Hunter said- "Has any of you even tasted penguin before?" and then Rico raised his flipper… so yeah. By the way the Truth game is actually a game my friend made up because she complains that she can't give good dares… so we came up with that little game. Now who was the person Rico saw? I like some of you might be able to guess it…
