A/N: Newest 1-shot! I know it's awfully short, but I was inspired by a friend's true story like this! (Not to mention I didn't have clue why she was actually fighting with the guy):P Anyways, hope you enjoy, be sure to review please! :D
I hate Ash. I hate him so much.
"Is that what you think this is about?!" I scream, letting my voice carry out through the entire hallway. Everyone else had already left, making it seem even louder as I clang my locker door shut.
"Well, what am I supposed to think, Mist? You aren't giving me too many choices!" Why did he have to make me so mad?
"I don't know! Something…other than that." I turn to walk away, so angry with him that my face is blazing hot. I can't see him right now, or I'll scream at him even more than I already have. Before I can leave, he grabs my arm and says, "Don't, Misty."
I whirl to face him. "And why not, Ash?" I ask, standing so close I can feel his breath on my face. It smells like peppermint.
"Because," he begins, "you can't stay mad at me."
"Sure I can! I can do whatever I want!" I glare up at him, unwilling to break eye contact first. I am not going down so easily. Then, he does the most un-Ash-like thing.
Ash, the kid who hates me almost as much as I hate him, leans down and his lips crash into mine. My mind keeps screaming to back off, but for some odd reason, I just can't seem to do it. When he finally pulls away, I stare up at him, wide-eyed and filled with shock. A grin tugs at the corners of my mouth, and as soon as he sees it he says, "See? Told you you couldn't stay mad at me."
I frown, giving him slits for eyes as I try to figure out what to say next. I shake my head, trying not to laugh at the confused look he's giving me. I grab his hand, making his face light up slightly. "Come on," I say, pulling him with me. "We've got a ride to catch."
He nods, letting go and racing out the door. "Hey, wait up!" I exclaim, chasing after him. "You're my ride home!"
