Hi everyone! Officially announcing this story is discontinued. I'm sorry, but I wrote this in high school and I have no idea how I meant to edit it (and I lost the drafts on my previous computer, which is long gone in a landfill somewhere). I still receive reviews and questions about continuing, so I wanted to announce it here and thank you all for your sweet, thoughtful reviews and passion for the story!
Good news is... I am now on Wattpad and I just posted an original fantasy novel that I'm writing! If you want to read it, please check out the link on my profile. I would REALLY love to see any of you readers over there and hear your thoughts. :)
My new jungle fantasy novel, WRATH OF THE WILD, is something like this...
Nineteen-year old Zada Evergreen didn't sign up to hunt monsters. A jungle of wild beasts trying to kill her, and a sassy boy named Vlad who thinks he knows everything, were definitely not in the program description.
Zada came to the Caribbean for a summer of beaches and gorgeous islands. But when a deadly prehistoric bacteria called 'shimmer' is discovered, Zada finds herself pulled into a team of scientists bent on finding the cure... and they need her to do it. Shimmer can't be seen with human eyes, and yet Zada is the only one who can sense it. What makes Zada so special? The scientists want to know.
As the bacteria spreads in the tropical country of Pangea, mutating animals into flesh-eating beasts and turning the very trees into spies, Zada must help the team find shimmer and stop it. That is, if the jungle doesn't destroy her first...
I hope to see you over on Wattpad with my new original story!
