Hey guys! This story is based off the song "Same Love" by Macklemore. I just wanted to make a fluffy story about The Doctor's second daughter. You'll be seeing more of her. Hope you like!
Emily Song sat on her bed with her head down, tears on her face. She didn't know if she could tell her father what was going on. She was shaking and took in a deep breath. The Doctor walked past his daughters room and saw her looking sad. He stopped and walked into her room. "Em? You OK?" he asked, making Emily perk up.
She wiped her eye quickly and smiled up at him. "I'm fine dad," she said. "Just really tired." he sat down on the bed and put an arm around her. He didn't really believe her. The Doctor knew when something was wrong with his daughter. "You love me. Right dad?"
He was taken aback at the question. "Of course I do, sweetie. Why would you ask such a question?"
"Because... I want to tell you something. Really important. And I wanted to make sure that you love me," she said. "Will you love me no matter what, dad?" asked Emily.
"I will love you forever Emmy. I will never stop loving you, no matter what," said The Doctor, and Emily rested her head on his shoulder. "Now, what is so important that you have to ask my such silly questions?"
Emily took in another breath and more tears begged to leak out. "You promise you love me?"
"I'm..." she said, then stopped. Emily couldn't say it. She didn't think her father would love after she told him. "I'm... Gay." she said. Silence. It was long, and Emily was ready for her father to tell at her, and maybe even kick her out of the TARDIS.
"I still love you," he said. Emily looked up at him, tears in her eyes. "Sweetie, saying that your gay doesn't make me hate you. I don't care. Because your my daughter, and I love you." Emily just hugged her father, and started to cry. "Why are you crying?"
"Because I thought you would hate me. Because I'm different."
The Doctor just frowned at her daughter. He couldn't believe she was afraid her father would hate her. Or that she would call herself different. "Never call yourself different. You may love the same sex, but you are still like everyone else. And I would never hate you. I love you, Emily. With all of my heart."
Emily smiled at her father. "I love you too, dad. And I'm glad you still love me just as much."
He was still angry that Emily thought she was disappointing him, and he would always love her, no matter what happened. She was his daughter, and he couldn't ever love her less because of who she was.
I've published two one-shot stories in one say. Kind of crazy right? OK, just thought I would share that with, hope you liked, and review! Love yall!
