Kanamine97: This story has been nagging at me for a while now. I've written it onto a notebook, but it took quite a lot of effort for me to actually type it in on a computer. I really should be studying for my exams, but seriously I really wanted to write the first chapter for this, at least. Besides, it's Art and Graphic Product. The exam won't be that hard.. Right?
Anyway, this story is based on Kuroshitsuji. Black Butler.
I don't think I might put any pairings for the story, as it is OC anyway. But I may consider of writing a pairing in the story. It may be the actual character, if not, OCxCharacter.. this is also my second fiction, but I'll treat it as my first one since I deleted my first one since it was….. Outrageous. Well.. Wish me luck! Oh, and please drop a review if you read - I'd really appreciate some reviews!
EDIT:Re-editing this story. Feel free to re-read it from the start or whatnot, but I think there'll be a big modification for the story..
I stood up and stretched up my arms whilst yawning tiredly and glanced at the clock. The hour hand pointed roughly at 12 whilst the minute hand pointed at 9. 24:45 I thought to myself. "Ugh…." I groaned. My whole body has been longing for my fluffy comfortable bed that has been calling me from the last 2 hours and 45 minutes. "This is endless. I can't be bothered to finish this coursework book." I cursed, throwing my Art book across my bedroom. Throughout the week, I've practically turned myself into a bat; staying up till late night and waking up late (but not too late for school) simply because of preparation of my Art exam, and finishing my coursework book. If I had known that it'd turn out like this, I wouldn't even pick Art GCSE in the first place!
I'm Rui Nagasaki. A senior student that is currently dreading for her exams that happen to fall in the day after next. Bursting in anger, I scowled "Grr... I'm missing out on my anime here!" Right then, I could stay up and catch up with my anime, but sleep has taken the best of me. Besides, I have school tomorrow. I sighed and climbed onto my bed. "For now, I'll have to sacrifice my anime. " I mumbled to myself. My heavy eyelids shut heavily on me and sleep has taken over me.
I was sunk into cotton – fluff wonderland. This has never happened to me. Ever. Was my bed always this comfortable? Or is it because I'm far too exhausted that any bed that I lay on would be this comfortable? Whatever. Still tired, I fell into deep slumber once more.
I stretched my hand and yawned in reflex. That was a good sleep. I opened my eyes and sat up, looking up at the bright azure sky. Oh, this is nice. It's so nice and sunny outside. A picnic would be nice.. I thought to myself. But school's on today.. I took a deep sigh. Oh well.. Let's prepare for school shall we? Smiling to myself, I got off the bed and head off to the bathroom.
I turned the tap on and rinsed myself. After getting out the shower, I head off to my room, scanning my wardrobe for my school uniform. Hmm..? That's strange.. Wasn't there loads of my uniform here..? Where's it all gone off to? Panicked, I rummaged through the wardrobe and found no trace of my uniform. Strange.. Irritated, I just picked out a random clothing of the wardrobe and wore it. Roaming around in my room, I searched for my uniform and found none
It was then when I realised that something was off. The wardrobe, the room, the garden. .. basically... Everything. I froze on the spot, face palming myself for not realising it earlier. How could I see outside my window, seeing that I sleep in a double bunk bed, and having my bed not facing the window?! Slowly, I made my way to the window and peered outside. I cringed upon what I saw. A garden, or so I think it is. The garden was dead; the colour grey has consumed its supposedly beautiful natural green colour and the grass which was supposed to be growing everywhere, was now growing in patches and the trees, they were… dead. I got off the bed, collecting logics that I could connect and finally came to a conclusion. It's obvious that this isn't my house. So then… whose house is it?.
After seeing the ruined garden, I decided that I might as well try to fix the garden. Whoever the owner is, I pity him/her. Getting out from the room, I made my way outside the ho- manor. Exiting the manor was such a hard work. The hallway was practically like a maze, and I ended up getting 'a little lost' in the way. After some time, I finally managed to exit the manor, and ended up in the garden. It was then when I noticed a blonde haired boy who was crouching and what seems to be fixing the hedges. Hearing rustles behind him; he spun around and saw me.
"Ah. You're finally awake miss!" He chirped happily.
His green eyes were staring right at me. Confused, I tilted my head and asked him "What exactly do you mean by that...?"
"I found you unconscious in the garden before..." he tapped his chin and continued "So Sebastian-san brought you in... Oh. That's right... The young master would like to see you once you've woken up. "
Young master? Who's that...?. I thought to myself. He continued to explain, and I began to inspect his look closely. His blonde hair was held back from his face using multiple hair clips, except for one strand right in the middle. His straw hat was resting on his back whilst it tied to his neck. He wore loose, plain clothes and had gardener's gloves on. Hmm.. I thought to myself. He reminds me of someone.. But who? I scraped out all of the possible suspects out of my brain that seem familiar. Sho?...Finny?... Wait… Finny?! .When I finally realised, I pinched myself in disbelief. Is this a dream? I'm in Kuroshitsuji?!. After pinching myself a hurtful good few times, I came to a conclusion. It is not a dream.
FINNY!" A voice broke out of the blue. Both Finny and I jolted in surprise .
"How many times must you destroy my garden?" the harsh, annoyed tone continued. My gaze was averted to a young boy with an eye patch over his right eye walked up to us, with a butler following behind him
"Young master! I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to kill the plants. I didn't"
I stood there, listening to Ciel's 'complaint speech' to Finny, having no idea what to do. It was then when Ciel finally noticed me.
"Hmm? You're finally up." he glared at me coldly "Finny, I'll deal with you later. Sebastian, bring her to my room. I wish to speak with her." After giving out his orders, he walked off. What a stuck up person. With a sigh, I bid goodbye to Finny, and was met with Sebastian's face. He looked at me, bright smile hung on his face.
"Young lady, if you would follow me."
He walked past me, headed in the same direction Ciel had gone. "Uhh.. Okay.." I replied to him. I followed him through the hall where I was once lost in.
"We've arrived. If you please enter the room, my master is waiting for you" His favorite fake smile was still plastered on his face. It was as if it's his only expression that he has.
He opened door and I walked into the room in return. As soon as I stepped inside, Sebastian closed and locked the door. My eyes were fixed on the young boy that I had met earlier. He sat on the desk, leaning his face on his hand. Incidentally, the word 'bored' was practically written on his face.
"Please, take a seat. There are some questions I'd like to ask you."
I walked over to him and grabbed at the nearest chair whilst admiring the room. Secretly.
"Okay" He huffed, stretching up his hands "Let's begin shall we?."
Firstly, what are you doing here, on the Phantomhive's grounds?" He asked.
I laughed awkwardly "Well.. it may not sound like a plausible explanation, but.. I'm unsure myself.." I answered him. He glared at me fiercely; like a hunter and a prey.
"Who are you?" He asked the next question rather quickly.
"I'm Rui. Umm.. Nice to meet you!.." I replied cheerfully.
"… I'm sorry.. what? Ru…" He asked me again. Annoyed, I gritted my teeth, holding in my anger. It has been the umpteenth time that I had to repeat my name when I'm introducing myself to someone.
"Rui. R-U-I. Roo-ee" I had given him the way how to spell my name, AND how to pronounce it. At the very least, he should be able to say it properly by now.
"Ahem. Sorry about that. My name's Ciel. Ciel Phantomhive. " He coughed. "Well, Rui, That's it. All of my questions are answered. I guess your questioning time is over." Ciel sighed exasperatedly.
"Sebastian, bring her to a room. We'll deal with her later. I have paperwork to complete. For the time being, prepare a room for our guest."
I sweat dropped. I noticed the tone he used when he said "guest". This brat. You're younger than me. Watch it. I clenched my fist, trying my best not to punch him. When I finally managed to calm down, somehow, I figured it would be best if I deal with the situation… professionally. I heard the door open, I turned to see and saw Sebastian waiting in the doorframe.
"If you would follow me once more, my lady." He said; that same false smile on his face.
"Of course, gladly." I curtsied and returned the fake smile. I walked through the halls once more, wondering how big this stupid hallway is. Not too long after we set off, we had reached a nicely furnished room and Sebastian pushed me inside.
"This shall be your room for the time being. Pardon me m'lady, I have to go and fetch my master." He said in his uncaring tone. I walked toward the bed and sat down, letting out a huff. Now.. What should I do?
