Just a silly little one-shot I thought of this morning. :)
I don't own Sherlock or any of the characters you recognize.
"Bored," Sherlock announced. He was sprawled out on the couch, staring at the yellow face he had painted on the wall.
John ignored him and continued typing madly on the laptop that was perched precariously in his lap.
"Bored," Sherlock repeated, louder than before. He turned his head to glare at John. When John didn't respond again, Sherlock yelled, "Bored!"
"I heard you the first time, Sherlock," John grumbled. He paused his typing to glance up at the detective. "No need to shout at me."
"Well you didn't respond," Sherlock said matter-of-factly. "I thought it might be because you couldn't hear me."
"I'm sitting right next you," John said. "Of course I can hear you."
"Bored!" Sherlock said again, turning back towards the wall.
"Call Lestrade. See if he has another case for you."
"There's no need to call him," Sherlock sighed. "If he needs me for a case, he won't hesitate to call me. He never does."
"Go see Molly. Maybe she has some more bodies you can examine."
"It's Saturday, John. She takes Saturdays off."
John sighed and began typing again. "Find a book to read. Text your brother and meet up with him. Play your violin, even."
"Boring, boring, boring!"
John snapped his laptop shut. "Sherlock! Just find something to do!"
Sherlock frowned. "But there's nothing to do, John," he moaned. John put his arm against the armrest and rested his head on his hand with another deep sigh, but didn't respond. "Bored!" Sherlock repeated.
John put his laptop aside and stood, striding across the room to where Sherlock was laying. Sherlock looked up at him with wide, hopeful eyes. He knelt next to Sherlock's head and couldn't help but grin down at the detective. "All you have to do is ask, idiot," John said.
Sherlock frowned. "Is it really that easy?"
"Of course it is," John said, chuckling.
Sherlock smiled. "Well then. John, just hurry up and kiss me already."
"With pleasure," John said, grinning and leaning down to grant his lover's request.
:D Hope you liked it! Review and let me know what you thought!
