Dean turned in bed and sighed lightly, blinking open his eyes to the bright sunlight shining through the small gap in the shades. Running a hand over his tired face, he thought back to the previous night. He and Castiel had gotten into a fight, he could barely even remember what had started it off but he regretted everything that had come afterwards. He rolled over, his green eyes immediately making contact with the familiar deep blue ones of the angel lying beside him. ''I must be waking up in heaven.'' He said to Castiel softly.

The angel watched him for a moment before he answered. ''That's a terrible line Dean, even for you.''

Dean propped himself up on his elbow to look down at Castiel with raised eyebrows. ''Come on Cas, you're not still mad at me?'' He asked him.

''Yes. I am. And your ridiculous pick up lines will not work on me this time.'' He said flatly.

Dean sighed and dropped back to lie on the bed. ''Hey Cas?''

''Yes, Dean?''

He smiled at him innocently. ''Come here often?''

Castiel supressed a smile of his own and shook his head lightly. ''Dean, stop it.'' He mumbled, turning onto his side, facing away from the hunter. He could feel him staring at the back of his head as he trailed a finger up his back.

''You look cold.''

''What?'' He asked with a small frown.

He could hear the humour in the angel's low voice. ''Want to use me as a blanket?''

Castiel scoffed. ''I'm not cold.''

''Alright fine. You wanna be difficult huh?'' He sighed. ''Is it hot in here, or is it just you?''

''That one's just bad.''

Dean nodded and stayed silent for a minute before smiling to himself. ''Are you lost Cas? Because heaven is a long, long way from here.''

Castiel had to bite his lip to stop himself from laughing. ''Please, just stop.''

Hearing the amusement in his voice, Dean continued. ''There isn't a word in the dictionary to describe how good you look in the mornings.''

''Dean. I am not kidding you.'' He warned.

''When God made you, he was really showing off.''

''Quit it.'' Dean grinned as he moved his hand under the angel's t-shirt. ''Dean what are you-?''

Dean grabbed the label of his shirt and smirked. ''Ah, thought so.. Made in heaven.'' He said, leaning in closer until Castiel could feel his breath on the back of his neck.

''Alright, alright.'' He said as he turned onto his back to look up at Dean. ''If I say I'm not mad at you anymore, will you give it up?''

Dean grinned. ''Absolutely.''

Castiel smiled and shook his head. ''You're such an idiot.''

''That's why you love me.'' He smiled.

''You're right you know.''

He reached out an arm and pulled him closer so that Castiel's head was rested on his shoulder. ''I'm sorry I'm a dick with you sometimes. You know I don't mean it right?'' He asked gently.

''I know you don't.. I love you Dean.'' He replied quietly.

''Except when I'm a dick. Obviously.'' He added lightly.

''No, I still love you when you're a dick.'' He said with a laugh. ''I just love you more when you're being nice that when you're being mean.''

Dean smiled and placed a light kiss to the top of his head. ''Heaven must be missing an angel.'' He said, no longer able to hold back the laughter as he fell backwards laughing until he had tears falling from his eyes. When he finally caught his breath, he sat up slightly and placed a light kiss to Castiel's lips. ''I really am sorry..'' He whispered. ''Love you..''

''Love you too.'' Castiel smiled, burying his head further into his neck and closing his eyes, falling asleep to the sound of Dean's heartbeat..
