A/N Please review , I'd really like to know what you think of the story so far!
Gwen sat in French class confidently.
She had double-checked all her homework at least 5 times the night before , and therefore was sure that she couldn't have possibly forgotten anything.
Jamie didn't do French and so she was pretty sure that nothing could go wrong.
She opened her French book and began to read about the passé composé as instructed.
Keith raised his hand.
The teacher , Miss Sparks , sighed wearily - she had heard about the twins from other teachers and truth be told she hadn't been looking forward to meeting them.
"Yes Keith," she said looking up at him.
"I might not have my book," drawled Keith, slumping in his seat.
Miss Sparks raised a carefully drawn on eyebrow.
"You either have it or you don't " she said "which is it?"
Keith remained silent.
Miss Sparks sighed again.
"Very well" she said "you'll just have to share with someone."
She looked around."Gwen...?"
Gwen stared at Keith in disbelief. How is it that I'm always stuck with one of those dratted brothers she wondered. Is there no-where else for him to sit?
Keith grinned at her as he sat down in the seat next to her.
Gwen pushed her book to the middle of the tabled and continued to read silently.
Keith started to tap on the table with one of Gwen's pencils.
Gwen continued to ignore him.
Keith snapped the pencil in two.
Gwen glared at him.
"What did you do that for?" she hissed.
"Accident," he said shrugging.
Gwen stared at him.
"It wasn't an accident," she said, "you did it on purpose."
"How do you break a pencil by accident anyway?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Simple," he said, "here I'll show you."
He took another pencil and snapped it in two.
Gwen closed her pencilcase and put it in her bag, ignoring him she went on reading.
"Alright class" said Miss Sparks "please open up your copies and do exersises 8 and 9 on page 231".
Gwen reached down into her bag and pulled out her pencilcase.
Miss Sparks pursed her lips disapprovingly.
"You should have taken your pencilcase out at the beginning of class, Gwen," she said.
Gwen went red but didn't offer any explaination while Keith smirked.
He'll get bored after a while, she said to herself.
At lunch Gwen decided to go to library and read.
Mr Dermot had told her that some new books, that she might find interesting, had come in and she was pretty sure that neither of the twins would be caught dead in the library.
She pushed open the heavy door and looked around for Mr Dermot to tell him that she would be in the library during lunch.
Having told him and after asking about the new books she sat down in a padded seat and began to read.
She had spent about an hour on the phone to Emily the night before, and Emily had tried to convince her to tell someone, preferably her parents what was going on.
Gwen had tried to convince her that they'd get bored after a while but Emily hadn't been convinced.
So they had reached a compromise - if the twins didn't leave her alone after a week she'd complain about them.
Gwen pursed her lips in annoyance. She couldn't understand why they just wouldn't leave her alone.
It wasn't that she found them threatening or anything like that, they were just incredibly annoying.
Because of them she found herself distracted a lot of the time, and she knew that Kevin was slightly suspicious, and was wondering what was up.
The fact that Kevin would beat both Keith and Jamie up if he knew what was going on brought a slight smile to her face, despite the fact that she'd never tell him.
She heard the bell ring loudly and clearly, and put her book back in its place. Before she'd have taken it out to read at home but ever since Ben had put the omnitrix on again she didn't really have time to read .
Still, she was happy that they were helping stop the DNAliens from taking over the world, and beating them up every night was great for any anger she might have.
She left the library and hurried to her locker to get her maths nook, groaning when she realised that Jamie would probably be sitting beside her again.
She decided to completely ignore him.
Miss Adams smiled at her as she walked in and she saw that she had been correct in assuming that Jamie would sit beside her again.
He looked up when she sat down and gave her a small smile, which confused her a little.
Then, as she sat down he pulled her maths homework out of her hands and started flicking through it, grinning.
Gwen pursed her lips angrily and snatched it out of his hands.
"Gwendoline!" Miss Adams exclaimed,"Give that back to Jamie immediately!"
"But it's my homework," Gwen said, slowly turning red.
The teacher pursed her lips but didn't pursue the matter.
"You got me in trouble," hissed Gwen angrily, all thoughts of ignoring him forgotten.
"No I didn't," he said grinning.
"Yes you did!" she said glaring at him.
"I never made you snatch your homework - you could have asked politely and I would've given it to you," he said with a shrug.
Her eyes narrowed but she didn't continue, turning to the teacher and completely ignoring him.
The rest of the day passed quickly and Gwen was relieved when school ended.
She hurried out of the school , made a 60 second pit-stop at her locker and rushed out of the building into Kevin's car.
The DNAliens wouldn't know what hit them.
