Horrible Timing

This could be read as a sequel to I'm the reason that we're breaking.

"I'm not doing this because of you Teddy!"

Roxanne practically screamed it at him, it was a lie and he knew it, but he was still so angry at her for doing this. Teddy ran a wayward hand through his hair in frustration trying to blink back his own tears as he watched them freely slide down Roxy's cheeks.

"What do you want me to say?" He demanded, "Do you want me to tell you I'm sorry and come running back to you? I shouldn't even be here!"

"Are you in love with her?" She whispered, almost too quietly for him to hear.

"No," he answered impulsively, "I wanted you to have something better than I could give you, there are so many boys in your house that could give you so much and what could I give you?"

"Love," she blurted out, "I didn't care about anything else, I loved you, Teddy and you fucking broke my heart."

Teddy stared at her shocked, trying hard not to cry, he thought she'd gotten over him until he found out about her becoming Hogwarts Champion. Then he had realised what was fuelling her to make such a stupid decision as putting her name into the Goblet of Fire.

It was his fault.

"Do you still love me?"

"What," she stammered.

"Do you still love me: yes or no?"

Teddy watched as her expression became confused and unsure. Without even thinking he took two steps towards her and pressed his lips to hers. At first she tried to slap him away but then she stopped and started kissing him back, running her hands up into his hair as she did.

The kissing was angry, firm, but deeply satisfying at the same time. He slid his hand under her shirt, groping at her chest and she moaned against his lips. Teddy smirked to himself and pushed her back onto the couch that the Room of Requirement had provided them with. She ran her hands along his chest as their kissing became more passionate and more heated.

"I hate you for making me love you," Roxanne whispered as they continued, Teddy stopped momentarily and looked down into her huge dark eyes. She allowed a slight smirk to pass her lips and Teddy breathed a sigh of relief before leaning down to kiss her once again.

But then he stopped.

"Fuck," he muttered, "Victoire."

Roxanne raised an eyebrow at him as he rested his forehead to hers, "That was horrible timing."
