Basically I was super busy with work and then summer ended and then school and golf and I was totally swamped and got away from this story. But I am back now and determined to finish it.

Here is the next very long awaited chapter.

"Well this is extremely problematic." Regina muttered as the group huddled in the war room.

"Rumple has the magic beans AND the Jolly Roger." Charming thought out loud.

"So he's using Hook's ship to travel from world to world." Cora confirmed.

"We need to post patrols near the beaches to keep any eye out for any ships matching the Jolly Roger's description." Emma stated, receiving a nod of confirmation from Regina.

"So what will be our next move?" Charming asked, looking to the women for any thoughts.

"I believe we should prepare our forces in case of an attack, as well as post watchmen along the beaches as Emma said, and I believe we should get some dinner." Regina said to the room and received nods of agreement.

Charming and Cora exited the room to round up Snow and Henry, while Emma and Regina remained behind.

"You okay?" Emma asked softly as she wrapped her arms around Regina's waist.

"Fine." Regina replied with a tired sigh, "This business with Rumple though, who on earth would have helped him if it wasn't Hook?"

"Hook said that he tried to help Rumple find his son, but he didn't succeed, perhaps Rumple found his son and then came here to sort out business with you?"

"Then you think the son and Rumple are aligned against me?"

"It's a possibility. But if Hook doesn't know who helped Rumple escape the previous world, then we are back to square one."

"This is proving to be quite taxing." Regina muttered as she racked her brain.

"It doesn't help that there are infinite worlds." Emma said with a light chuckle, making Regina's mouth turn upward in a smirk.

Her expression changed when a thought crossed her mind.

"Rumple told me that the curse he used came from another world, but the curse itself. The magic in it felt different and dark…" She trailed off.

"What else?"

"It felt… old Emma. Extremely old." Regina replied as a chill overcame her and Emma's bodies.

The stood in silence for a moment, reveling in the warmth each other provided.

"So we are looking for an old world with dark magic." Emma muttered out loud.

"There have to be hundreds, who knows maybe even thousands of worlds with that kind of age and magic."

"Yeah but it's a start. We could look through your books as well as Ursula's and Maleficent's and see what comes up that could possibly have that kind of magic."

"Yes but then what? We can't just go hopping through a portal to a realm that may or may not contain Rumple. As for right now, because he isn't in this realm he isn't an immediate threat, we need to focus on research alone." Regina explained and when she was finished, received a nod of agreement from her fiancée.

"Um guys? Dinner?" Henry asked from the doorway, a hopeful look on his face.

"Getting hungry kid?" Emma asked as she and Regina chuckled at the look of hunger on their sons face.

"No." Henry said defensively before turning and running down the hallway.

"Come dear, let's go and eat." Regina said, an amused smile on her face.

"With pleasure Your Majesty." Emma replied with a wiggle of her eyebrows and received a predatory gaze from the Queen.

The family gathered in the dining hall and began to fill both Snow and Henry in on what had transpired in the Dark Forest, after they finished they waited to see what Snow had to say on the matter.

"I have to agree with Regina and Emma on this. Most likely, Rumple found his son and he is helping him with some other scheme. He may be gone right now but I think the precautions you want to take are wise. I'll make sure Charming and I station men along the beaches in our kingdom to watch for Hook's ship." Snow explained to the room.

"Now that we have an idea -a very vague idea might I add- of what to look for, we should be able to hopefully find something as well as focus on getting the ball rolling on this wedding of yours." Cora said, a smile gracing her face when she received nods of agreement from Snow and Charming.

"Mom, Henry, there's something that Regina and I needed to tell you about." Emma began as she looked to her fiancée, a smile on both of their faces.

"I'm pregnant." Regina announced, watching in amusement as Snow's eyes widened as large as a doe's and a slice of meat slid from Henry's mouth and back onto his plate.

"Awesome!" Henry exclaimed as he looked excitedly to both of his mothers. "I'm going to have a little brother or sister!"

"Indeed you are Henry." Regina replied with amusement.

"I'm going to be a grandmother again." Snow whispered, tears clinging in her eyes as she stood and rounded the table to embrace both women. "I'm so happy for both of you." Snow pulled back slightly and looked at Regina, "Especially for you Regina."

"Thank you Snow." Regina replied, her voice just above a whisper.

"Now. Let's talk decorations." Snow began excitedly, going over the other details of the wedding with Regina as Emma let out a mock groan, which she then received a playful slap from Regina.

The talk of wedding details went on for a few hours, eventually forcing Emma to leave the dining hall and follow Cora to the library, along with Charming while they let the other two women discuss the wedding.

"So while my mother and Regina work out wedding stuff, we should probably get cracking on finding this old magical land." Emma began as they entered the library.

"Would you like me to get in contact with Ursula?" Cora asked, stopping next to the large mirror that was present in the library.

Emma gave a nod and led her father to the nearest section of books, dealing with magic and details of other worlds.

"Looks like as good as any place to start." Charming said as his eyes raked over the shelves of books. He grabbed a few and handed them to Emma and then grabbed a stack of his own before heading over to the nearest table and sitting down. "I don't think I have ever read so much in my life."

"I hear ya." Emma grumbled as she opened the first book.

"Ursula should be here within the hour, along with her and Maleficent's books." Cora informed the group as she took a seat and opened a book from Emma's pile.

"Research?" Regina asked as she and Snow entered the room.

"Yes, you should also know that Ursula should be here in an hour." Cora said to the women, not even looking up from her book.

"Regina do you want to go work out the details for the wedding with the designers, or do research?" Snow asked.

"She's doing wedding stuff." Emma answered for her fiancée, her eyes not seeing the scowl on her face but feeling it nonetheless, "I'm not taking no for an answer Regina. Don't worry about the research we have it covered."

Emma stood from her spot at the table and walked to her fiancée and wrapped her arms around her.

"Enjoy planning the wedding. Let me work on how to find Rumple and keep you and muffin safe." Emma whispered, her own bright eyes boring into Regina's.

"Fine." Regina agreed in a defeated tone, "I wish you would let me help with this though. But I understand how important it is for you to want to be able to protect me."

"Good." Emma kissed her sweetly and looked at her lovingly, tucking a strand of brown hair behind her ear, "I love you. Go enjoy the planning."

"I love you too. Don't stay up too late dear." Regina murmured before kissing the blonde once more and exiting the room with Snow by her side.

Emma, Cora, and Charming set to work for the next hour, skimming through pages for anything that referenced a dark world. Some of what they came across actually referenced dark worlds, in the literal context, as they were worlds of perpetual night filled with plants.

"Hello dears." Ursula said in greeting as she appeared through her inky black cloud.

Grunts from the other three came in reply and Ursula arched an eyebrow.

"I take it you haven't found anything yet." Ursula commented as she sat her books down on the nearest table and grabbed one. Taking a seat she began to flip through the pages. It was going to be a long night.

Emma awoke, sunlight streaming in through her and Regina's window and landing on her face, causing her to groan in protest.

"Sleep." Regina mumbled.

"It's bright." Emma muttered in reply before raising her hand and willing the curtains to close and block out the sun.

"What time did you come to bed?" Regina asked, sleep still evident in her voice as she stretched against Emma before settling back into their cuddle.

"Late. Ursula came and we poured through a quarter of the books and came up with nothing of value."

"I figured as much. I would have been surprised if you found something, in fact I will be surprised if you find anything of value at all." Regina replied with a yawn.

"Thanks for the bout of confidence." Emma replied with a chuckle.

"To be perfectly honest there is a large possibility that no one has been to that world before and that it was never documented."

"That thought crossed my mind but we can't give up hope that we will find the land that we sent Rumple to."

"I agree. Worst comes to worst, I'm sure there are a few ancient beings in this land that I could consult and see if they know anything." Regina offered.

"Who are these beings?"

"You don't really want to meet them to be honest." Regina began, "I met with them when I cast the curse, they're some of the older witches and warlocks that live in the dark forest. I won't pay them a visit unless it is necessary."

Emma nodded and pressed her forehead to Regina's.

"Do you want to try and sleep more?" Regina asked the blonde, kissing her cheek and searching her green eyes with her own brown ones.

"Yeah maybe a-." Emma began but was cut off by a loud knock on the door.

"Come in." Regina said, frowning at the urgency of the knock.

Ursula entered the room with a frown on her face and a look of fear in her eyes.

"We may have a problem."

In another land….

"So your plan didn't succeed." The man said as his eyes focused on the blood red chalice in his hand.

"No. True Love won once more." Rumple replied with disgust.

"However, you did succeed in reuniting with your son." The man stated, his eyes drifting from the chalice to Rumple's face.

Rumple stared for a moment, looking at the man's hazel eyes. They seemed to pierce his very soul, old as they were, even older then him and perhaps time itself.

"Yes." He answered finally, "My son Bae and I have been reunited."

"Well something good came from your trip." The man drawled out, a sneer crossing his face.

"Don't worry yourself dearie. We made a deal." Rumple replied with a wag of his finger. "I scanned as much of the enchanted forest as I possibly could and yet I found no child."

"Pleasant news." The man snapped.

"Tsk tsk dearie, did you really think I would come back empty handed?" Rumple asked with a wicked smile. "The child you seek hasn't been born yet."

"And how is that good?" The man asked, the temper evident in his voice showed the loss of his patience.

"The child will be born within 6 months." Rumple replied with a mad laugh, "For you see my dear prince." Rumple trailed off as the prince edged forward in his seat, intently listening.

"The child is the product of True Love between the Evil Queen and the Savior. The perfect combination of dark and light." Rumple finished with a flourish.

The man's eyes seemed to glow with pleasure and he smiled wickedly, his face transforming as well as the rest of his body into the creature he was. His normal hazel eyes flashed a deep red and a piercing scream tore from his body as he took off into the night shrieking with glee.

Rumple had done well.
