Nothing to say aside that I really hope New Leaf is as good as the Japanese are saying it is. Admit it, you know it's going to be a real hoot.

Fear and Loathing in DICKSville
Tortimer, the supposed mayor of DICKSville, read the words on the letter with an obvious frown. There were tons of things on his mind, emotions swirling in an ocean of confusion, anger, and sadness.
"How could this have happened?" he thought, years of managing the inappropriately named town, and it all came boiling down to one conclusion. His ultimate downfall as mayor of the town. It seemed as if all the other villagers had finally grown tired and suspicious of his town duties. Perhaps they found out that he went to Brewster's while on the job, or maybe they could have even found out that he buried all of his crummy birthday presents into the soil.
Whatever the case may be, it was obvious that he had screwed up somewhere in his long twelve-year terms of being the mayor, and if that wasn't enough, a majority of his disappointment stemmed from just a few simple lines at the end of the letter.
We're really not that sorry Tortimer, but you have been replaced by that human villager, you know, the only one living in the whole town? Yeah, he's mayor now. We will no longer be requiring your services.
We will no longer be requiring your services.
It didn't help that the final sentence was repeated, bolded, and underlined.
