1.) Hello! I was just playing through Awakening (which is brilliant), and I came across this scene in the game. I realized that if Chrom had just been a little more perverted, this fanfic might have happened.
2.) Again, spoilers till Chapter 6 of Awakening.

Fire Emblem Awakening: Assassinations and Disguises
The masked man known as Marth drew his blade, the one that eerily looked like Falchion, and had nearly killed Chrom less than a week ago. Tensing, Chrom's hand flew to Falchion's hilt, preparing for a fight.
"I'm about to save your life," said Marth, motioning towards the bush behind him with his sword, "from him." Just as an assassin darted from the bush, Marth tossed up his blade, crouched, and sprung into the air. Catching the hilt, Marth swung his blade down as he fell, cleaving the said assassin in half. He stood, sword parallel to the ground. "I trust that this proof will suffice."
Chrom just stared in awe. Sure, someone like Frederick might suspect that the whole thing was a set-up, but Chrom was a little too trustful for that. "...Yeah." Then, the rustle of the same exact bush alerted the two swordsmen, both of them tensing. Then out of the blue, an armed man jumped, his bloodthirsty blade glinting in the moonlight.
"W-What!?" exclaimed Marth, not expecting another assassin. Measuring the distance between him and his assailant, he realized that they were too close to each other - Marth needed to back up. Unluckily, his foot got caught by the dead assassin's fallen blade, making him lose his footing and slip. Slicing downward, the airborne assailant only managed to slice off Marth's mask, his short hair unfurling into long locks of blue. That was when Chrom sprung into action.
"Grah!" cried the prince of Ylisse, running with his sword pointed outward towards the assassin. The assailant was sliced down in the blink of an eye. Spinning on his heel, he faced the rising body of... a woman. "Wait... you're a woman?"
"And quite the actress too," joked the girl. "Honestly, I'm a little surprised that you didn't figure it out till just now."
"Well, let's just say that your feminine figure isn't overly exaggerated," said Chrom, his gaze lingering on Marth's flat chest for a fraction of a second. Of course, the formerly disguised girl caught him.
"Gwah!" cried Chrom, Marth's boot flying into his crotch. The prince of Ylissa was now lying on the ground in fetal position, clutching his royal family jewels.
Robin had to resist the urge to facepalm.
3.) For those who don't know, Robin is the default name for the Avatar.
