Summary: Being raised only by his Aunt, Harry comes to Hogwarts not only knowing about the Wizarding World, but with a kind of training no one at the school is expecting.

Petunia wanted nothing more than to be with Amelia as she dealt with the aftermath of the Flint Murders, but there were other obligations, an obligation to her son. Luna and her father were coming over for Lunch, at Dudley's request from weeks ago.

Dudley and Harry, both dressed in their formal suits, were waiting in the dining room when there was a knock at the door. Petunia gathered herself, smoothing her dress over her hips, as Dudley rushed to the door, took a second and opened it.

Luna and Xenophilius Lovegood stood outside the door. Luna was in a beautiful pastel dress with a necklace made of feathers and bottlecaps that on her just worked. Xeno's light grey robes almost matched his long, lanky blond hair.

"Mister Lovegood, Luna, welcome." Dudley said formally. "Please come in."

Dudley led them into the dining room where Harry was waiting and Petunia joined them.

"Hello Harry Potter." Luna said in her ethereal voice. "Hello Miss Evans."

"Hello Luna, dear." Petunia said, before turning to Xeno. "Petunia Evans, it is a pleasure."

"Xeno Lovegood." The eccentric man said, bending over and kissing the back of Petunia's hand.

They sat down at the table and began lunch. The only thing that Harry had recommended was that there was pudding for dessert, as Luna's love of pudding was almost as legendary at Hogwarts as Diva's singing.

Petunia and Harry watched with supressed amusement as Dudley listened in rapt attention to Luna's stories about her various creatures and the stories Xeno wrote in his publication The Quibbler. Xeno sat with a proud smile as Luna talked.

After lunch and a while talking around the table, the Lovegoods got up to leave. Before they left, Xeno approached both Petunia and Dudley.

"Mister Evans, you have my permission." Xeno said, gaining a squeal of joy from Luna. "Miss Evans, that being said, if he harms her, he will be ending up as Nandu droppings."

"Understood, Sir." Dudley said with a lump in his throat.

The door closed behind the Lovegoods and Harry walked over to Dudley and gave him a slap on the back.

"Congratulations Dud." Harry said. "You realise your new Girlfriend has a thousand-year-old Ghost who considers her a surrogate daughter and her best friend is the personification of Hogwarts Castle?"

"What's life without a few tiny challenges?" Dudley said nervously.

"That's like saying climbing Mount Everest is 'taking a little stroll'." Petunia joked.

Harry flipped the second omelette onto a plate and picked the two plates up. It was late at night after the third and final of the Ministry Functions over the Christmas and New Year period. Harry was dressed in his suit pants and a white button-up shirt, with his bowtie undone but still draped around his neck and his feet only clad in socks. His suit jacked was draped over the back of one of the dining table chairs.

Walking through the living room, he saw Petunia and Amelia on the couch. They had changed out of their evening dresses and into their pyjamas, Amelia now keeping some clothes at Privet Drive, just as Petunia kept some clothes at Bones Manor. Petunia was watching the late news while Amelia was dozing with her head in Petunia's lap as his Aunt gently stroking the dozing woman's hair.

Harry made his way up the stairs, past Dudley's room where his cousin was laying in bed reading. It looked like a book on Magical Creatures, probably so he had something to talk to Luna about. Knocking on his own door with his shoe, he waited for Susan to open the door. When she opened it a few seconds later, she had also changed out of her evening dress, and was now only wearing Harry's Hufflepuff Quidditch Jersey. Spotting the plates Susan reached for one of them, which Harry gladly handed over.

"Oh god, that's good." Susan said after her first bite.

They both sat on the bed as they ate, as no real food had been served at the Ministry Event and it had started early in the evening.

"I'm kind of looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts." Harry said as he stood to put the now empty plates onto his study desk.

"So am I." Susan admitted as Harry got into bed and Susan curled up against his side. "I kind of miss singing every evening for the dorm."

"I miss that too." Harry confirmed, putting his arm around Susan's shoulders. "And I miss Sunset. Hell, I even miss Indy."

When Susan didn't respond, Harry looked down and found her fully asleep. Soon Harry followed her into slumber.

Harry stepped out of the Floo onto Platform 9 ¾, followed almost immediately by Susan. Hannah almost knocked Susan over as she gave her best friend a flying hug. As Susan recovered her balance, Neville also approached.

"Ambassador." Neville greeted.

"Dragon." Harry replied, giving his friend a manly hug and they slapped each other's back.

The four friends boarded the train and found the compartment where Hermione, the Patil twins and Luna were already sitting. After Harry and Neville put all of the Trunks into the overhead racks, Neville and Hannah sat on the bench opposite Hermione and the Patil twins, sitting next to Luna, while Harry and Susan took up their now traditional position, with Harry sitting against the wall under the window and Susan sitting between his legs with her back against his chest. They all began chatting about their Christmas break.

Twenty minutes into the trip there was a timid knock at the door. Padma, who was closest to the door, reached over and opened the door. Harry, Susan, Neville and Hermione had all pulled their Wands, but kept them in their laps. As the door opened, it revealed Little Beth, the Hufflepuff First Year who had requested her mother's Lullaby as Susan's nightly song earlier in the year, and she was still the smallest Student at Hogwarts.

"Hello." Beth said, quietly.

"Hello Beth." Susan said with a smile. "Would you like me to sing your Mummy's Song again?"

"No." Beth said with a blush. "Mummy took me to see the Play with the people dressed up as cats. Can you sing the Memory song?"

Luna patted her lap and Little Beth jumped up and settled down into the Blonde's lap, with Luna's arms wrapped around Beth's waist as Susan began to sing the opening bars of the requested song.
