Heat. That's all I felt before I opened my heavy eyelids. As I looked down, I saw Edward's toned bicep draped over my waist. His grip on me was unbreakable and possessive and I couldn't help but smile to myself. It was still a thrill every time I focused on the fact that he was mine. I shifted slightly, trying to give some relief to my over-heated body. With my small movement, Edward's hand tightened on me and he let out a strained moan.

"No," He breathed behind me.

"I've got to get up, babe. It's the big day. I have to look beautiful and all that."

"You always look beautiful. Stay here for a while."

"I can't," I said as I began to raise my body from the bed.

In one quick movement, I was trapped beneath Edward. His eyes sparkled deviously as his lips curled upward into a sexy smirk. His bed-head, "I fucked all night" hair fell over his face. He was so good looking, I almost forgot to breathe. I nearly became completely undone when his tongue traced the edge of my jaw.

"I bet I could make you stay in this bed with me," He whispered seductively while pressing his very obvious erection into me.

"Edward!" My voice came out as a strained moan.

"Edward, please. As much as I would love to do this right now, I have to get ready. This is graduation. With my parents."

His body went slack on top of me in a sign of defeat.

"Fine," He murmured. "But, I get a rain check."

"Sure thing, Romeo. Now let me up."

Edward rolled over and got up from the bed, giving me a chance to take in his beautiful body. The muscles in his back were finely sculpted and flexed at the slightest movement. My eyes traced the lines down to his toned ass. I bit my lip to not let out any kind of noise, but Edward must have known I was staring at him anyway since he glanced at me over his shoulder.

"Like what you see?"

"Always," I breathed.

"Good answer." His smile back was dazzling.

Edward pulled on his jeans and shirt. He walked around the bed to my side, leaned over me and claimed my lips in a sweet kiss

"I'll let you get ready. See you later, beautiful. Can't wait to see you on that stage."

"Don't remind me," I groaned. My fear of face planting on the platform in front of everyone was growing by the second. My clumsiness had always been an issue.

Edward's thumb caressed my cheekbone softly. "You'll be fine, Bella."

After a quick peck on the lips, Edward left. I rubbed my hands over my face and stretched my limbs. After pulling an all-nighter with Edward, I was deliciously sore. I left the comfort of my bed for a quick shower. The graduation dress I had bought with Alice hung in the closet. The chiffon dress was a dark blush color with a sweetheart neckline that cinched in at the waist with an A-line skirt. The hemline hit about mid-thigh, showing off a portion of my pale legs. I wanted something respectable, yet flirty. After curling my hair into loose waves, I applied a little eyeliner, mascara, blush and lip gloss. I gathered my black cap and gown and made my way out to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Both my parents texted me letting me know they'd meet me outside of CenturyLink Field.

"Alice! Can I borrow your nude pumps?" Rosie yelled as she opened the door abruptly. "Oh, hey B. You look beautiful! Aren't you excited?" She squealed.

Good God. Rosie was the one who looked beautiful. Her hair was full and straight, cascading over her shoulders. She wore a deep teal shift dress that had ruching on right side to accentuate her slim body. Her grandmother's gold locket hung around her neck.

"Rosie…wow." I choked out.

"Do I look alright?"

Just then, Alice emerged from her room. Her eyes swept over both of us, taking in the scene.

"Damn girls. Lookin' good!" She broke out into a wide grin.

Alice herself looked good. Her dress was a pale yellow, contrasting against her curly dark hair. Like my dress, it had a sweetheart neckline, but it was tighter, shorter and form-fitting. Alice always was one to show off her incredible figure.

"You look beautiful, too Al."

"Thanks," She smiled sweetly. "And yes, Rosie. You can borrow my nude pumps. Let's get going, ladies. The ceremony starts in an hour and a half."

I decided to drive all of us to the event. Once we parked, Alice and Rosie left to go meet up with their parents. My dad, mom and Phil were supposed to meet up with me by the entrance of the stadium.

I spotted my mom first in her floral knee length dress that swayed in the wind. She was feverishly texting on her cell phone-more than likely trying to contact me. Phil stood there staring at his phone, mumbling. I'd seen him do that before; He was watching some sports game. I searched the crowds for my father, but didn't see him.

"Hey Mom!" I shouted nervously as I walked up to her.

"Bella! There you are! I've been texting you!"

I knew it.

Her arms opened wide as I embraced her.

"You look gorgeous, darling. That color looks stunning on you," She whispered in my ear.

Then I heard her suck in a breath. A sense of dread washed over my body.

Dad's here.

Sure enough, when I turned around I found my dad awkwardly standing there wearing a slightly over-sized navy blue jacket and pants, white button down and a navy patterned tie that I had given him a few Christmases ago. I had only seen my dad wear a suit one time before to a wedding in Forks. I chuckled to myself- it was the same suit.

"Hello Charles."

Oh no she didn't.

My father frowned momentarily before smirking.

I felt my mother flinch behind me. They had both thrown their first punches. The fight had begun. My father hated being called Charles. He told me once that Grandma Swan only called him that when he was in trouble. My mother, however, hated being called Renesemee. She hated it so much that she legally changed her first name to Renee after marrying my father.

"Phil," My father said with a curt nod.

"Hello Charlie. Nice to see you."

I could feel the iciness between them and it made me incredibly uncomfortable. I walked up to my dad, giving him a tight hug.

"Hi Dad. Looking quite dapper today."

"Only for you, Bella." He chuckled.

"Okay, well. I need to go find my spot. Here are your tickets. Try not to kill each other before I get my diploma and trip on the stage."

I handed them the small pieces of paper. My mother gave me a final kiss on my cheek and wished me good luck. My father patted me on the shoulder in support. His small act of public affection spoke volumes and I knew it. After I entered the building and followed the signs for graduates to line up, I pulled out my phone to text Alice and Rosie. Of course, I saw what I had assumed earlier.

33 Missed Calls: Mom

13 Text Messages: Mom

Edward iMessage

I read his text right away, feeling warmth and calmness spread through me.

Good luck today, babe. That color looks beautiful on you.

I looked up immediately and searched almost frantically the faces around me looking for his.

"Looking for someone?" Said a deep voice from behind me.

Two hands gripped my hips tightly and I was guided backwards to a somewhat secluded corner. He spun me around and held my face in his hands, a thumb grazing over the bottom of my lip.

"Edward," I breathed reverently.

My need for him to keep my nerves at bay was overwhelming. I pulled the lapels of the dark blazer he wore, pressing him even closer against me. I didn't care that we probably looked indecent to everyone else there. I need this. I needed him. I pressed my lips to his, coaxing them open. His tongue met mine and I sighed in pleasure. His hands slipped from my face down to my hips again, holding me close to his growing erection. Before I could start grinding into him, a familiar voice interrupted.

"Oh for the love of everything holy. There are families here. Will you two sex machines stop for maybe an hour so she can graduate? Then you can go at it on the table at dinner. You know it'll already be awkward with Charlie and Renee."

I pulled away from Edward's lips and turned to see a somewhat pissed off Alice standing next to Jasper. Rosie and Emmett were behind them, trying hard not to laugh.

"Fucking cock block," I whispered and looked up into Edward's heated eyes. His answering shy smile made my heart skip a beat.

"Later," He said, pressing a kiss to my forehead.

There's that word again.

"Bella Swan."

Please don't fall. Please don't fall. Please don't fall.

I rubbed my sweaty palms on the black gown.

"B, go!" Alice pushed me forward.

The eight foot walk was by no means graceful. I awkwardly walked to meet the President of the college. But, I didn't fall. I took my diploma, turned my tassel to the side, stood for a picture and walked off the stage to my seat. I wasn't even aware that I held my breath until I released one big sigh. When the speeches were finally done, everyone began shouting while we threw our hats in the air in celebration.

"We did it!" Alice screamed, pulling Rosie and me in for a hug.

I'm a college graduate. Fuck yes!

Jasper and Emmett hugged each other, and then turned to their ladies for a celebratory kiss. At that moment, I wanted my man.

"Come on," I yelled to the couples over all the shouting.

We had all agreed with our families to meet outside the entrance of the stadium. The closer I got to reaching Edward, the more I realized I would be meeting his parents. I suddenly wished I had gone to the bathroom to check myself in the mirror. I wanted to look perfect to his parents because Edward was perfect to me. I wanted them to think I was worthy of their son. I flushed slightly with nerves. As we all walked out, my eyes were drawn to him right away. I saw the back of his head first. His dark brown and coppery hair was somewhat tamed. I laughed quietly at the image of him trying to smooth it down. His broad shoulders and the back I had admired merely hours ago were covered in a tailor black blazer. His muscular legs were hidden by slim, gray pants.

"Mom! Dad!" Jasper's voiced shouted out amongst the crowd.

Edward turned abruptly. It took half a second before his eyes focused on me. The smile that overtook his face was jubilant and made me smile back ridiculously. In less than a second he was making his way through the crowd to me. When he reached me, Edward grabbed my face and kissed me slowly and intimately. In that moment, I felt undeniably cherished.

"They want to meet you," He murmured.

My body recoiled instantly.

"Okay," I said, shakily.

Edward smiled at me with a lopsided grin and grabbed my embarrassingly sweaty hand. We made our way to his parents and I saw immediately how Jasper and Edward turned out to be so good looking. Dr. and Mrs. Cullen stood out from the crowd with almost an ethereal presence. Edward had clearly gotten his hair color from his mother, but her copper highlights sparkled prominently in the sun. Her face was like porcelain- flawless and clear with perfectly applied make up. Wearing slim tan pants, a white silk blouse and tan heels, Mrs. Cullen seemed like she stepped out of a damn advertisement in Vogue. I turned my attention to Dr. Cullen and was equally taken aback. His blonde hair was parted and slicked back. I could see immediately that Edward had gotten his vibrant green eyes from his father. Dr. Cullen wore a similar outfit like Edward's, except his color palate was navy blue and tan. They looked perfect together. In other words, I was fucking intimidated.

"Mom, Dad. I'd like to introduce you to my girlfriend, Bella Swan." There was no mistaking the pride in Edward's voice. My heart swelled.

"Bella! It's so nice to meet you! Congratulations!" Mrs. Cullen pulled me into a friendly embrace. I was so caught off guard I almost didn't return her hug.

"Thank you, Mrs. Cullen." I smiled timidly.

"Oh, please call me Esme. Mrs. Cullen is too formal. I've heard so much about you."

"Mom!" Edward said hastily. For a moment I saw a slight blush bloom on his cheeks.

"Oh really? Well, that's good to know." I smiled, looking up at Edward.

"Congratulations, Bella." Dr. Cullen's warm voice grabbed my attention. I shook his hand, noting the firm grasp.

"Oh, thank you very much Dr. Cullen."

"Carlisle, please."

"Esme! Carlisle!" Alice embraced both his parents in enthusiastic hugs. "Esme! You look wonderful!"

Rosie, who I know had met the Cullens only a few times, offered a shy greeting.

"Bella! Darling! You looked beautiful up there!" My mother cut through the crowd excitedly. She hugged me and planted a loud kiss on my cheek. She looked up at Edward, gasping. "Oh my God. Is this…?"

Here we go.

"Hi, I'm Edward Cullen, Bella's boyfriend." He extended a hand to her.

"Pleasure to meet you Edward." I thought for a moment she batted her eyes. Sure, Edward was incredibly attractive, but Cougar Renee needed to get a grip.

"Edward, this is my mom's husband, Phil." I introduced him as he stood awkwardly behind my mother.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw my dad carrying a bouquet of daisies. I felt tears well up in my eyes. Ever since I was a little girl, if my dad bought me flowers, they were always daisies. They had become a kind of unspoken symbolism of our relationship-something only we knew about each other.

"Dad," I choked out.

Pull it together. Edward's parents are here.

"These are for you. I'm so proud of you, Bella." He gave me a brief hug.

"Dad, there's someone I'd like you to meet." Upon hearing those words, my father's chest puffed out and he fixed his shoulders to stand up taller. "This is Edward, my boyfriend."

With charm and ease, Edward held out his hand to shake my father's. "Hello, Mr. Swan."

"Deputy Swan. Hello, Edward."

DAD! I felt my face burn, knowing that it was a deep shade of crimson.

"Of course, Deputy Swan. It's nice to meet you. I hope you all are coming to an early dinner with us. My parents wanted to throw an impromptu graduation party for my brother."

Edward was laying on the charm thick. I wish he could have read my mind. I would have been telling him that didn't work with my father. No charm. No bullshit. People in town said it were those characteristics that made him such a good police officer.

"We would love too!" My mother squealed.

"Hmph." My father grunted. I could he wasn't happy about it.

After Edward introduced his parents to mine, we waited for Alice, Rosie and Emmett's families to meet up with us.

"How are we going to fit everyone at a table?" I asked Edward.

"We rented out Bella Italia for the evening. Edward said that place was your favorite," Esme smiled.

Another wave of heat consumed my face. He suggested our place.

"And then we can finally reveal our graduation present to you all!" She squealed, clapping her manicured hands together in excitement.

"What present?" Alice shouted excitedly, immediately diverting her attention from her family's conversation. Of course she would hear that word. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Edward. I can't hold it in anymore. I've kept this secret for weeks! I have to tell them!"

"Mom!" Edward whined like some annoyed 17 year old.

"Well," Esme ignored him, "Carlisle and I are letting you guys use our vacation home on East Gig Harbor for a weekend as a graduation present. We have made sure the house is all ready for you guys. You'll have everything you could want there!"

Edward leaned down into my ear, his breath hot. "Oh, I'm sure I will," He whispered darkly.
