Walking in a slight daze, Willow made her way back to her dorm room. She had just left Tara after inviting her to her first Scooby meeting. Willow was hoping that the gesture would bring her and the blonde closer together.
Not that there was any real need to, no, it was rather she felt that she should.
And these thoughts and feelings were confusing. As she reached her room, Willow gnawed on her bottom lip. She needed to do something. Grabbing her laptop, she opened her journal and began to type.
I'm not sure if I should feel the way I do.
I've never felt this way before, which confuses me.
I loved him, didn't I?
It had to be love.
But if it was?
What am I feeling now?
What is this pull I sense each time we get together?
Why is it that I can see your face in my dreams?
Why do I seem to focus on your mouth, watching your lips as they hold me captive?
Leaving me hoping that I've heard some of what you've just said when I see that slightly confused or concerned look on your face if I haven't answered you.
The slight touches.
The ones I hope you don't know about, otherwise, how could I explain the overwhelming need for contact- no matter how brief?
When we touch- on purpose...
Do you hear my heart?
You must be able to.
I can hear it roaring in my ears.
Do you know what I'm feeling?
Can you tell me?
Or are you waiting for me to make up my mind.
You are waiting, aren't you?
You have to be waiting.
Now I wonder- what am I waiting for?
What bolt of lightening has to strike for me to realize what I feel for you?
When deep down, I've known. And I will make the journey to reach you.
The climb will have been worth it.
It will always be worth any trial.
I smile as the answer stares me in the face, as bright as the sun.
Are worth anything.
"And I think it's about time I tell you," Willow said to herself as she closed the entry and thought about Tara, smiling all the while. 'After the meeting,' she thought as she nodded.
