3 Months Later

As usual perched on top of a building Kid Flash waited for any disturbances. His ears picked up the tiniest of footsteps meters away. He listened for the crackling of glass, the sound of gunshots, and sirens. Tonight there was nothing. The gentle breeze unfurled his curly red hair that peaked edaciously out of his mask. It was like his hearing was off, nothing made a sound. He did hear one thing however, tiny footsteps as light as snow sounded behind him. A hand slithered into his hair and he turned around to her awaiting lips. This time he wasn't alone and on patrol in Central City, but together with someone in Jump City. Her embrace made him feel even freer than he was almost a year ago. Jinx smiled at him and placed a hand on his new red and yellow suit. Her pink eyes regarded him lovingly in the moon light. He hugged her tighter and placed kisses all over her face. She giggled and batted him away. "Wally we're out in the open, I don't think kissing on the job is allowed."

He raised an eyebrow. "See if I care." He mumbled and pulled her back to him in a passionate embrace. He kissed her lips more and more.

She giggled and pulled away from his lips. "Any trouble tonight?"

"No, only a robbery earlier that the police handled. Crime has really dwindled." He looked up into the starry night sky and smiled.

"Yeah, it's a good thing. Maybe the Justice League would lighten up on Cyborg a little. They're literally like hawks now." She said serenely.

"I feel bad for him. He has so much to handle now, like those new City hall meetings and press conferences. He's literally trying to paint over the Teams flaws from last mission." His voice carried into the breeze and the chilly night air felt stiff around them.

Jinx nodded. "Don't forget that he has to deal with Bee, her mood swings have gotten even worse now that she's approaching full term."

Wally smiled. "Speaking of pregnancy, when's the last time we did it?"

She hit him in the chest. "Wally!"

"What? I want some sexy time." He smiled at her glare.

She rolled her eyes and pulled him in for a kiss. Soon it deepened and their hands started roaming. She pushed him away for a moment. "On top of a roof, really?"

He smiled cheekily. "Why not? We've done it in a fire truck before."

She reddened at that memory. "Fine but massage me first."

He smiled and lowered her onto the ground. They kissed and massaged each other lovingly. They murmured their love for each other and shed some of their clothing. She purred when he kissed her neck and he nibbled on her ear. When she got close to his ear she whispered, "I am so glad I'm marrying you."

He laughed and engulfed her lips in a passionate kiss. "We should probably start planning that soon." He mumbled in between kissing.

She chuckled. "Less chat more passion."

He laughed again and they resumed their sensual moment. Before he could get her bra off a buzzing sound emitted from his pile of clothing. They both swore and Flash reached over to pull out his silver communicator. He pressed a button. "WHAT?" He yelled harshly.

Starfire's face popped up on the screen. "Emergency at Jump City hospital fast!" Her face clicked off and Flash shrugged on his uniform. Jinx did the same. She now wore purple striped leather leggings and a black corset. He arms were adorned in wrist bands and her shoes were lace boots that ended mid-calf. She spun around herself creating a pink flying disk. She looked at Flash. "Race?"

He smiled. "See you there!"

She couldn't hear him though, she was already gone.

By the time they arrived at the hospital the doors were crowded with cameras, reporters, and police officers. Lights flashed and Jinx and Kid Flash were immediately swarmed with hungry reporters. They shouted random and ridiculous questions at them. Kid Flash shoved his way through them, punching one in the face on his way there. Jinx followed behind him and they walked with a fast pace. They slammed the doors of the hospital and sighed softly.

"What the hell was that? I thought there was an emergency!" Jinx shouted.

One of the nurses approached Jinx and Kid Flash. "Welcome, please follow me." She smiled kindly and walked towards the elevator.

Flash raised an eyebrow and followed behind her quietly. The hospital was abuzz with nurses. They ran from one room to another, scratching their clipboards erratically with their pens.

Jinx tapped the nurse on the shoulder when they reached the elevator. "Um, would you mind telling me what's going on?"

The nurse smiled brightly. "Certainly, Bumblebee went into labor a couple hours ago. I'm taking you to the maternity ward with Miss Starfire to await the arrival of the babies."

Jinx gaped at her and then smiled brightly. She jumped up and down and clapped her hands. "Wally did you hear that? Bee went into labor!"

Flash grabbed her hand and ran down the hallway to the nearest set of stairs. He threw her over his shoulders and ran up them at his top speed. He reached the maternity ward waiting room within seconds. He plopped Jinx down and ran to where Starfire was. "Where are they? Is everything okay? What's going on? Is she in pain?" He yelled.

Jinx stood up and walked over to him. She smacked him in the back of the head and huffed. "What is wrong with you? The hospital staff will tell us when they're born." She rolled her eyes at his dumbfounded look.

He rubbed his head achingly. "Sorry, I just got a little too excited."

"Well calm down." She looked towards Star. "Any news? Is everything okay?"

"Yes, as far as I know. The nurse told me earlier that they were inserting an object of the name epidural." She made a funny face. "I do not know the meaning of that word."

Jinx smiled. "It's a pain killer shot that should take a percentage of the pain away. It's a good thing she's in that stage of labor."

Starfire nodded. On her planet you had to give birth standing up, and there were no medications involved. She sighed, she'd been thinking about her home planet so much she often lost track of the current events around herself. She shook her head trying to clear it of her memories.

Noticing Starfire's change of demeanor Jinx placed a hand on her shoulder. "You okay?" She whispered so Wally couldn't hear them.

She plastered on a smile. "Yes, I am very excited for the arrival of the twins."

Jinx smiled back. "I wonder what name they'll pick."

Wally chuckled. "I wonder which one of Bee's powers they'll get!"

They chuckled and a nurse came to alert them. "The twins have been born, one boy and one girl."

The girls squealed and Flash jumped up in the air. "Can we go see them?" He asked excitedly.

The nurse nodded. "Room 405" She walked away while scribbling something on her clipboard.

Wally was naturally the first one there followed by Jinx and Starfire. Their eyes widened as they took in the sight before them. An exhausted looking Bumblebee was sitting up and holding two bundles in her arms. Next to her on a chair was Cyborg he was wiping away a tear while Wally patted him on the back. The Titans slowly approached her and looked at the babies. Bee smiled. "A boy and girl, just what I wanted. It's perfect." Her smile was so bright it lit up the room.

The boy had tiny puff of hair on his head and he was sleeping soundly. The girl was swaddled in a pink blanket and her eyes were wide open. Her eyes were shaped like Cyborg's good eye, and they were the beautiful honey golden color as Bee's. Jinx looked at Cyborg. "Her eyes, does that mean she has powers like Bee?"

Cyborg shrugged. "Only time will tell, they told us that she's the only one with wings."

Starfire wiped away a tear, she hugged Bumblebee lightly. "They are most beautiful. What did you name them?"

Bumblebee gestured toward the boy. "This is Kordale Stone. He's named after my grandfather." She gestured toward the pink blanket. "This is Maitena Raven Stone."

The Titans exchanged glances. "Her middle name…" Starfire breathed.

Everyone's eyes watered slightly and they smiled in content. Bumblebee nodded. "Without Raven they wouldn't be here."

A moment of silence ensued and they all wiped at their eyes with tissues. Cyborg finally broke the silence. "I wish BB were here to see this." He mumbled.

Kid Flash patted his back. "He'll return one day."

Cyborg shook his head. "I wouldn't count on it; he's been gone for a while now. Not even the private investigator could pick up track of him."

Jinx sighed sadly. "Well we can use this day to mark a new era of the Titans, right? We can't dwell on the past. We have the future to look forward to."

Starfire nodded. "Now the Titans have two new editions." She smiled.

Bumblebee chuckled. "I don't think they'll be fighting anytime soon." Maitena made a cooing sound and Bee kissed her forehead.

"Who else would take my place?" Starfire said quietly.

The room went silent and Starfire sighed openly, now was a perfect time as any to tell them. "I have decided to return to Tameran. I miss it dearly and I want to clear my head for a while." Robin's face popped into her mind and she pushed his image away. "I do not wish for any of you to be mad at me. I just feel like Earth is the last place I need to be right now to deal with my own personal healing."

The others immediately went over to Starfire and hugged her. They detached themselves and Cyborg nodded his head. "We understand. Do what you have to do little lady."

Bumblebee wiped away some stray tears. "I'm gonna miss you."

"As will I." She said in return and hugged Bee tenderly. She leaned down and kissed the two babies' foreheads.

Jinx wiped away another tear. "We gain some and we lose some." She said sadly.

Wally patted her back. "I guess we'll have to give the Justice League a call then?"

Cyborg nodded. As much as he hated to admit it he really did need their help. "I can get a team started and I'll train them thoroughly." He sighed and looked at Bee. "We have a long road ahead of us."

She nodded and kissed him softly. "We'll be fine."

Everyone smiled and Starfire made plans of her departure. Cyborg held his children and Bee ordered everyone mediocre hospital food. They laughed, cried, and hugged each other. This was a moment they wanted to remember and share forever.

4 Days Later…

An airship landed on the roof of the Tower and blew a steamy breeze onto the awaiting Titans. The day was cloudy and cold, the ocean was not sparkling at all and the City seemed to blow with a sad breeze. Starfire hugged her friends again. Wally was pushed away by Jinx, he was crying uncontrollably. Jinx hugged her fiercely tight. Bumblebee followed and gave Starfire a bone crushing hug. They whispered their friendship to each other and shed some light tears. Cyborg came last and he gave her the sincerest hugs of all time.

"Is there anything you need before you go?" He asked.

"No, I shall be fine." She gestured to her three suitcases that were being hauled onto the immense ship by Tamaranian guards.

"We're all split up now." Cyborg said quietly.

Starfire nodded her head. "Yes, it does seem that way. I will keep in contact with you always, I promise."

He smiled. "I know, don't forget to plan some visits, okay? I'm sure the kids would like to get to know their aunt."

Starfire giggled. "I will bring them presents and gourmets of my planet."

Cyborg cringed playfully. "Yeah, I'm sure they'll like that." He chuckled.

She grabbed her carry on purse and turned away from the group she walked towards the plane when she remembered something vitally important. She reached into her purse and took out an envelope. She ran back towards Cyborg and handed it to him. "Please give this to Robin the next time you see him." She said sadly.

Cyborg studied the envelope. "I will." He wiped a tear that trickled down his cheek and she hugged him one last time.

"I shall miss our times together as a team. I shall never forget them." She wiped away some of her own tears and everyone was pulled in for a group hug. She detached herself and ran towards the airship. She sat down in a window seat and waved to her Team. They waved and smiled up at her as she left. They watched the ship go long after it was gone. Bumblebee left to attend to the children but Cyborg, Kid Flash, and Jinx stayed on the roof.

"I wish that mission never happened." Cyborg said solemnly.

Jinx wiped away some more tears. "Me too."

A puddle splashed and the air that licked his neck chilled his spine. It was a cold night and the moon seemed to follow his every step. He had to keep pulling up the collar of his jacket to stay warm. A small café on the corner of E Street beckoned to him and he crossed the street to get there. It was dark and warm when he entered but he still didn't take off his hat or jacket, instead he took a seat at a small table in the corner and waited. He knew who he was waiting on, none other than the notorious immortal Raina Chadwick. He had contacted her when he was trekking his way across downtown Central City after he left the memorial service. He found out about her through his various connections, she had the answers he needed.

A waitress came over to him and handed him a menu. "Would you like anything this evening? Coffee is half off tonight." She said in a southern accent. Her curly red hair was pulled tightly into a bun on top of her head, her smile was sincere.

Beast Boy shook his head and pulled off his hat and hood. His green skin sent shock into the waitress's eyes. The missing Titan that everyone was looking for was here in her workplace.

She placed a hand over her mouth. "Do you want me to call anybody for you; the entire City of Jump has been very worried about you."

Beast Boy shook his head again. "No, please don't tell anyone I was here."

She shook her head and looked around at the empty café. "I need to turn you in, everyone is worried."

Beast boy didn't feel like convincing another person to forget about him so he rubbed a hand over his eyes. "I'm looking for someone named Raina Chadwick. Have you seen her?"

The waitress blinked a couple times. "No, but I should call the authorities." She turned away from him and headed for the kitchen.

Beast Boy stood and grabbed her wrist firmly and looked the waitress in the eye. "Don't make me do something I'll regret." He said in a menacing voice.

Her eyes widened and her lip quivered. Suddenly she was knocked backwards by an invisible force and she crumpled into the wall she hit. A table knocked over and lightning flashed outside. Alarmed, Beast Boy took a fighting stance. In the doorway stood a brown cloaked figure, the hood was drawn so the changeling couldn't see who it was, even though he had an idea. "Raina Chadwick?" He asked quietly.

The figure took a step forward and Beast Boy jumped slightly. "Stay back until you tell me who you are." He said sternly.

She disobeyed and took another step. She pulled down her hood to reveal herself. Raina had flowing brown wavy hair and light brown eyes. Her skin was a tan color and her lips were adorned in red lipstick. She smiled seductively.

Beast Boy blinked, he thought she would be much older, knowing that she was immortal. "Raina Chadwick?" He asked again.

"The one and only." She smiled again; her pearly white teeth adorned her dark red lipstick. Her features made her look younger but the way she used them made her look like a movie star.

"I'm Beast Boy; I'm the one who called you here." He said tiredly.

"I know that." She smiled again and looked towards the waitress sprawled on the ground. "She won't remember a thing." She gestured the red headed waitress. Her lips were tout in a natural pout, adding mystery to her gazes.

"How do you know that?" Beast Boy asked curiously.

Raina lifted her hand and twirled her fingers. "I'm sure you can answer that."

Beast Boy nodded, he felt stupid for asking such a silly question. "We should sit down and talk."

She walked across the room to a booth and took a seat. "Certainly."

Beast Boy sat across from her and cleared his throat. "I don't really know how to start." He said awkwardly.

She smiled, outwardly trying to hide a laugh. "Tell me your story, and why you've called me."

He sighed and rubbed his hands on his pants. "Okay so about 9 months ago my girlfriend sacrificed herself to save Jump City." He looked down for a moment. "That's not really a story but the closest thing I have to it."

She snorted. "What do you want me to do about it?" Her voice dripped attitude.

He felt his temper to rise slightly. "I want you to bring her back; she brought me back when I died."

"So?" She chuckled and her eyes flickered to his face.

"So? Is that all you can say?" He raised his voice.

She stood up. "I think you're wasting my time." She fake yawned and turned away. He failed to notice her smirk.

"HELP ME DAMNIT! I loved her!" He screamed and stood. This was his only chance to bring his love back, and this witch was taking it as a joke.

She smiled again. Her eyes held much amusement. "That's what I wanted to hear." She sat back down and crossed her hands on the table. Her finger nails were painted dark red, the same as her lipstick. "Let's talk business."

Beast Boy sighed agitatedly and sat back down. "You really shouldn't do that."

Raina cocked her head to the side. "Do what?" She said sarcastically.

"Piss people off." Beast Boy crossed his arms and leaned back in his seat. His head was pounding and all he wanted to do was find an empty alleyway and sleep.

"That's the only way to get honesty out of people." She shrugged and softened her gaze. "Now I know how much annoyance you can take."

He pondered this for a moment. She was right; to get to know someone faster you had to bring out the worst in them before it was too late. Now anything they said to each other wouldn't be taken personally. They sat in silence for a little while, neither making a sound.

Beast Boy decided to break the silence. "Tell me your story."

She raised an eyebrow. "Why should I tell you anything?"

Beast Boy smirked. "I'm just trying to get the honesty out of you."

She laughed openly, smiling as she did so. "Fine." She cleared her throat. "As you know I'm a necromancer, meaning I'm like a witch with extras. I wasn't always this way and I became immortal through a grapevine of betrayals that I would not like to get into at this very moment. Anyways, I ran away from my old life and started a new one. I started making connections, and I became like a genie to many people."

"Then in comes me." Beast Boy said.

She regarded him wearily. "Yes, then in comes you." She leaned back in her seat and smirked. "What do you want from me?"

"I want you to resurrect my girlfriend." He searched her eyes for any compassion at his request but didn't receive any. Her expressions were almost shielded in a way, like she didn't want to reveal too much about herself. She was secretive, which made Beast Boy want her help even more.

"Do you know how many times I've been asked that?" She smiled lightly.

Beast boy sighed. "It's not like that, I really did love her. It feels like someone pulled out my heart, I just don't know how to feel anymore. I need her." His eyes held so much hurt he hoped Raina would help him. "Miss Chadwick, please you have to help me."

She put up her hand. "No begging allowed, no matter how much I like it. Also, do not call me 'Miss Chadwick' I'm immortal in an 18 year old body not 50." She sighed. "Call me Raina."

He smiled. "Does this mean you'll help me?"

"No." She answered coyly.

His gaze fell and a deep silence ensued from them both. Beast Boy felt any prickle of hope he had left leave his body. He could feel Raven's skin on his fingertips, her soft touch on his face. The way her lips felt would forever be etched into his mind. His heart skipped a beat and he sucked in a breath. His need for her was too much for him to handle.

She broke the silence by sighing. "Do you know how tricky resurrection can be?"

Beast Boy shook his head, all the energy he had to negotiate was gone.

"It's not a walk in the park; it takes concentration and rituals to bring back a soul from any dimension, state of limbo, or resting ground." Raina clicked her teeth together.

Beast Boy nodded, not trusting his mouth to open.

After a considerable amount of time in silence Raina broke it once again. "You have to become feared."

"What does that mean?" Beast Boy asked finally.

Rena shook her head. "Do you trust me?"

"No, but for Raven's sake I can try." He responded quietly.

She nodded slightly. "Good, then follow everything I have to say and we have a deal." She smiled wickedly, though her eyes held an entirely different emotion.

Beast Boy let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. "Don't worry Rae; I'll be seeing you soon." He said only quietly enough for himself to hear. He followed Raina out of the café and into the nighttime chilly air. He would do whatever it took to get Raven back, even if it meant becoming feared.
